Beautiful "guest house".They prefer to be called that instead of a hotel. The service is excellent, the manor is tastefully updated with original artwork both inside and in the lovely garden area. The rooms are very large and so is the bathroom. I could stretch my arms out to the sides in the shower it was so large. I would definitely recommend this guest house to anyone staying in this vibrant city.

The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful yet in a discreet way. Our room was wonderfully furnished and decorated in an antique style that 'themed' with the royal city of Loches. Tired from travelling we lounged in the sunshine in the little garden. It was very peaceful and quiet and great taste everywhere.

The amazing owner. If you want to have a great, intimate experience and truly get to know a really nice lady, then choose this tucked away charmer of a B&B. We arrived tired after a very long drive. We had stopped at a store and had picnic provisions to enjoy in the garden. The lady of the house not only supplied ice to chill our wine, but she brought out plates and cutlery for our picnic. We lounged on the back terrace in the most comfortable chairs for three hours, so nice after two weeks

This was a delightful B&B. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was enormous. The bathroom was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have stayed in, with a large bath in which to luxuriate. We also enjoyed the town. Very relaxed and with many dining options to choose from. An ideal place as a base to explore the Loire Valley and it's many Chateaus. Our host Sylvie was a delight. This place is amazing - the rooms are luxurious (we especially loved the Victoria room, with its massive bathroom and shower), Alain is the most genial and interesting host. Breakfast is full of homemade treats - and good coffee!
This is essentially a family home/estate which has been lovingly restored.
The area and the town of Azay-le-Rideau are very beautiful, and convenient for visting wine producers too.

Delphine was a really lovely hostess. Very genuine and easy going. Fantastic location if a quiet retreat is what you are after. A car is a must. Room was immaculate with beautiful furniture and the bathroom was fabulous. Fantastic pool to relax by surrounded by lovely gardens, birdsong, a donkey and a horse...and of course the resident doggy! -

The town of Azay-Le-Rideau is beautiful, and a great stopover between Calais and SW France. Lots of bars and restaurants to explore, nice bar by the river for the children to paddle in. Our children also enjoyed riding their bikes around.

of restaurants to eat. Azay-le-Rideau is a smaller town and we found
that charming. The Azay-le-Rideau Chateau is right down the street! It
was easy to drive to the other Chateaus in the area and avoid the
bigger city of Tours (parking, noise, etc.). Breakfast in the courtyard
was a wonderful way to start a day (and we are still wondering about
the horns embedded in old wall...) For a family of 4 this hotel was an

Everything about La Cyrillaure was great. The welcome was warm, the room was lovely and the pool fantastic. Francoise went out of her way to help us get the most from our stay in the Loire and she and Jean-Francois are the perfect hosts. Yummy breakfast and wonderful location right in the middle of everything.
