Great hotel. Lots of character, charm and staff so friendly. Very clean and comfortable. Granny and grandad had superb room on ground floor, with walk-in shower. Easy to visit caves and enjoy the nuits st georges wine. Beautiful! Fabulous meal too, with an excellent waitress. Thankyou!

We loved the open log fire which welcomed us on arrival, before dinner and even breakfast. The staff were charming and more than helpful both evenings and at breakfast. It was warm, cosy and inviting everywhere. This was our third visit and we weren't disappointed !!! -

Chateau de la Berchere was a wonderful experience, and we wish we could have stayed longer than the one night we had there. A 500+ year old Chateau, it had all the old-world charm expected, super friendly staff offering great service, a very nice little pool in the outer palace garden, a lovely breakfast, and comfortable rooms. It is close to the Nuits-Saints-Georges city center (5 mins drive).
