We really enjoyed our stay and the surrounding area of Nuits-st-Georges was pleasant also. Great location for a stop over or a wine trip i - Chateau de la Berchere was a wonderful experience, and we wish we could have stayed longer than the one night we had there. A 500+ year old Chateau, it had all the old-world charm expected, super friendly staff offering great service, a very nice little pool in the outer palace garden, a lovely breakfast, and comfortable rooms. It is close to the Nuits-Saints-Georges city center (5 mins drive).
