  We stayed at the Meriton Apartments - World Tower for a girls weekend away. Travelling from Melbourne & Brisbane we were looking for something central and comfortable. World Tower more than exceeded our expectations. The beds & pillows were to die for. There was no noise from other rooms and although they don't have a restaurant, there are plenty of restaurants & cafes at your doorstep. Som - Excellent place to stay when in Sydney. The apartment was wonderful with an excellent view of Sydney from the 63rd floor. Facilities in the apartment was complete. Location is strategic, near bus stops and within walking distance to a few train stations. Of all the apartments that I had stayed in a few countries, this was the best so far. In fact next year we plan to stay here again when Airasia x has its special fare to Australia again.

  We arrived from our cruise ship early in the morning and the receptionist immediatly said she would contact houskeeping and see how long it would be before we could book in. We went down town for a couple of hours and when we got back the room was ready for us. They had stored our baggage safely for us while we were away. The bathrom was huge and if we had been stay - We loved how close the hotel was to everything - Darling Harbour, Town Hall Station, QVB. The hotel was well maintained, the rooms quite soundproof when the balcony doors are closed. Also loved that there was a balcony so that you were not confined to an air conditioned box - fresh air was able to be let in. Was also great that the accommmodation was an apartment so we could make our own meals if we wanted and also wash and dry clothes, which was a blessing as hwe got drenched by the rain on

Love how the location is central to everything I needed ie, shopping mall, trains and food! Liked the price for parking a car at the hotel. That the place felt like a home not just a hotel.   Good combination of units to select from. We had 3 x 2 bedroom units for a large family for a wedding. Plus a 1 bedroom for the bridal couple on their first night. The parking was plentiful and not far from our rooms. The rooms were spacious and we didn't expect a 2nd bathroom with the main bedroom. This was welcome as we were 3 women travelling on a business trip. A request for a modem for internet access was provided and installed with no fuss. The close proximity to the M4 freeway was perfect. And the cost was very reasonable.

My visit to Syd was to attend hospital appointments and it was a great relief to me each day to know when treatments ended I was going back to my lovely comfy room where I could just relax. I will definitely stay there the next time I have to return to Sydney.
