Definitely made us feel welcomed and safe. The Hotel is on Royal and Bourbon St is the next street over but outside of the parade on Royal during Fat Tuesday it was peaceful. The location was great. It is near the park and walking distance of Bourbon St. I like that the room had the old French style, although that's not for everybody. -
Great traditional slice of the French Quarter but with all the modern hype and amenities nearby. Perfect choice for those who want to mix the two.

First of all, the location is perfect! We were able to park at the
French Market a block away for $20/day. The owner was super friendly
and helpful, and you could really tell he wanted us to enjoy our stay.

The property is an eclectic mix of old and new but with modern kitchens & comfortable furnishings. The staff were wonderful & gave great suggestions for dinner.
The location is fantastic (in the "no bus zone" of the Quarter, so it's much less noisy than the other end). Also just steps from all types of shopping and dining.
I will definitely stay here again!

What a gem this place was. So lucky to find such an amazing spot for the
money. The rooms are semi luxurious with nice bathrooms, comfy big beds
and a big tv. The lobby is nice with computers you can use for free. The
bar and pool are are great for a relaxing beer. Staff are nice with
particular mention of Ty the barman. His knowledge of local restaurants
and entertainment was brilliant and such a good lad as well. Happy to
help with bookings or info.

A bit too much "work" going on in lobby and out front
throughout the stay - I know such must occur, but perhaps some small
discount/accomodation is in order for those who endure it. Still not
too big a deal for me, but something to think about. Also disappointed
as a gold member that letsbookhotel.com had a cheaper rate than through the
Hilton Honors website - did not understand that
