The Grainary is a working farm, with a B&B on the side, so if you like the atmosphere of a farm, off on the edge of the moors, you'll love it. Children are especially well catered for, as they have every imaginable farm animal in the fields near the house, plus dogs, rabbits, a ferret and certainly one or two I've missed. Upon arrival the staff were friendly and throughout my stay. My room was enormous, well decorated and came supplied with a more than an ample supply of tea and coffee. I had a sea view and I couldn't of been happier.

I got an excellent room only rate from letsbookhotel.com- £29 per night for a
double room. I asked for a quiet room on an upper floor and got just
that. The room was very clean and was much better than I had expected
for the price. I have stayed in a number of the old victorian hotels in
Scarborough and this certainly matches them- however as a result of the
price it offers the best value for money I have seen. Another major

the staff were very welcoming and accommodating for myself and my boyfriend. We are a young couple and simply had a short weekend break. It was perfect for location and a short walk to everything. I was originally put off by reviews I had read on the Delmont, but please don't let it put you off. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely go back. Breakfast was great and prompt service :)
