The hotel was quirky in that it is an old aerodrome building and a huge amount of money has been spent in renovating it with an Art Deco theme - attention to detail is impressive and fixtures and fittings are all in keeping and good quality. Menu was very English with dishes you don't see often. -

A couple of friends joined us for breakfast on the first morning, but the friend with whom I was sharing the room was sick that morning and didn't join us. We found the Narrowboat on the internet and were pleased in that it met all our expectations.The staff were efficient,friendly and welcoming.Jen and Geraldine took care of us at breakfast time and looked after our room which was spotless. The waiters and bar staff also deserve mention in attending to our needs.As for the food , no complaints there! We dined there two nights. On the first night I chose the rib eye steak and on the second night came back for more.

I liked that the staff were polite and helpful, that the room was spacious and clean and that the hotel was excellently maintained. It was a bonus too that the buffet breakfast was half price when we arrived - and I must say the breakfast was excellent (and the restuarant is lovely) - Comfortable hotel excellent facilities including gym and pool g

The room was very clean and luxurious, very comfy. Sam very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful garden.. Wide variety of breakfast. Especially loved the home made blackcurrant jam :) Overall really enjoyed my stay and will visit again if I visit Kettering again.. Thanks for a lovely stay. -

The hotel is effectively a good sized traditional country Inn and as such retains a really authentic natural charm to both the outside and especially, the inside of the building.

The room was large and airy, it was kept lovely and warm on some very cold days. Everything was there including some delicious biscuits. There is a restaurant which serves mouth watering food which I would highly recommend which was also presented very well. Well done to the chef there :-)

It is the second time that I have a stay in this hotel. The people are very nice and affable. The rooms are clean and the geographical situation is perfect (for me). The only limiting factor for a french visitor is the quality of the restaurant, but I'm still alive. It is all right I'll go back.

The manager at the granary was fantastic. He was very accomadating and went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay. The room was very comfy and cosy and nicely decorated. Friendly staff especially John Freestone who has led an interesting life as a hotelier and is an expert on South African wines.

Piscine sauna spa parc autour de l'hotel - Beautiful grounds, lovely room, great facilities... loved the pool, jacuzzi and sauna which we were able to use even after checking out. Unfortunately did not sample the dinner as a wedding was taking place at the time. Would definitely go back there again. Great value for money at £65 for a double room. -
