This is a proper pub that does good food and is run by a friendly young couple who deserve success. As you enter there is a dining area to left and a bar area to the right and the pub retains an atmosphere that welcomes both drinkers and diners alike. Truly outstanding! The George inn is an accommodating, unique, and amazing experience. From the English pub to the well kept rooms we found everything we needed at the hotel. Breakfast was great and the couple who manage the hotel were exceptionally nice. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area or even people planning to do the tough mudder in nearby Kettering.

Room was lovely, clean and comfy.
Although we didn't have afternoon tea it looked delicious, especially liked the children's version.
Food in the bar available all day and came quickly, we had sandwiches and they were freshly made, and we enjoyed them with a glass or two of wine!! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, our every request was met with a smile.

The Owner greeted us on our very late arrival, I rand to inform them we would be late and they offered to put a meal to oneside for our arrival. I had ordered flowers in the room and the bouquet was superb and good value for money..

The inn was spotlessly clean, comfortable and made for a great overnight stay.
The breakfast was more than ample and meals were delicious.
I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this to anyone wanting fantastic accommodation at a reasonable price.

Staff members were polite and jovial. Excellent location with Beefeater and Petrol Station facilities on doorstep. No noise.

This is our second stay at the Hopping Hare, we find the staff to be welcoming and friendly. The rooms are furnished to a good luxury style, although quite warm, bathroom is very clean and again finished to a high standard. The restaurant area and bar are very comfortable and furnished to a high standard. -

The room was comfortable, clean and bright. The beds and pillows were comfortable and I had a good nights sleep, it was very quiet. The Harvester next door was lovely and convenient. The staff were friendly and approachable and the breakfast 'hit the spot', I have nothing but praise. Well done guys. xxx

The staff were friendly and the room was immaculate. Also I was
impressed with the sign asking people to consider others when coming in
as they may be sleeping. I have stayed at the Kettering Travel Lodge in
the past, as Premier Inn was fully booked and have had hardly any sleep
because of the noise from other guests; so full marks for that.
