We got a fantastic deal for the room through letsbookhotel.com paying £70 for the night. However, I do not think the usual price at £110 is good value for money. Easy to get to & not far from Silverstone Race Track where my daughter was running the 1/2 marathon. The Leisure facilities were very good & we all enjoyed a good swim in the pool. Breakfast was fantastic! Will stay again next year for the 2014 Half Marathon.

This is a proper pub that does good food and is run by a friendly young couple who deserve success. As you enter there is a dining area to left and a bar area to the right and the pub retains an atmosphere that welcomes both drinkers and diners alike. Truly outstanding! The George inn is an accommodating, unique, and amazing experience. From the English pub to the well kept rooms we found everything we needed at the hotel. Breakfast was great and the couple who manage the hotel were exceptionally nice. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area or even people planning to do the tough mudder in nearby Kettering.

The room was comfortable, clean and bright. The beds and pillows were comfortable and I had a good nights sleep, it was very quiet. The Harvester next door was lovely and convenient. The staff were friendly and approachable and the breakfast 'hit the spot', I have nothing but praise. Well done guys. xxx

The pool facilities were great and very accomodating with free towels and lovely jaccuzi.the breakfast in the morning had an excellent choice to suit everyone. - Rooms were a nice size and the evening meal in the resturant wasvery good.

The hotel was quirky in that it is an old aerodrome building and a huge amount of money has been spent in renovating it with an Art Deco theme - attention to detail is impressive and fixtures and fittings are all in keeping and good quality. Menu was very English with dishes you don't see often. -

We found the Narrowboat on the internet and were pleased in that it met all our expectations.The staff were efficient,friendly and welcoming.Jen and Geraldine took care of us at breakfast time and looked after our room which was spotless. The waiters and bar staff also deserve mention in attending to our needs.As for the food , no complaints there! We dined there two nights. On the first night I chose the rib eye steak and on the second night came back for more.

I liked that the staff were polite and helpful, that the room was spacious and clean and that the hotel was excellently maintained. It was a bonus too that the buffet breakfast was half price when we arrived - and I must say the breakfast was excellent (and the restuarant is lovely) - Comfortable hotel excellent facilities including gym and pool g

The room was very clean and luxurious, very comfy. Sam very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful garden.. Wide variety of breakfast. Especially loved the home made blackcurrant jam :) Overall really enjoyed my stay and will visit again if I visit Kettering again.. Thanks for a lovely stay. -

The hotel is effectively a good sized traditional country Inn and as such retains a really authentic natural charm to both the outside and especially, the inside of the building.

The room was large and airy, it was kept lovely and warm on some very cold days. Everything was there including some delicious biscuits. There is a restaurant which serves mouth watering food which I would highly recommend which was also presented very well. Well done to the chef there :-)

The manager at the granary was fantastic. He was very accomadating and went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay. The room was very comfy and cosy and nicely decorated. Cosy,warm rustic rooms having been converted from cowsheds.
Friendly staff especially John Freestone who has led an interesting life as a hotelier and is an expert on South African wines.
