Les services sportifs - Hotel was nice and clean, both public areas and the room. Room more spacious than most. Good leisure facilities. Enjoyable meals. - Lovely hotel with atmosphere and character. Children loved the pool and the outlook of our room was restful. Impressed with Barcelo chain and took brochure for further stays with the company.

The hotel was nice and modern and we received a good welcome on our arrival. Good parking facilities and the bar was also a nice surprise! We walked into the town centre during the day (approx. 10 mins), however, a taxi was necessary during the evening. The owners were really friendly, and as they weren't full they gave me an upgrade from the smallest room on the top floor to a larger room on a lower floor. There was fruit in the room as well as tea, coffee and bottled water, and free WiFi too. I couldn't fault the service, and as I was staying midweek and at the back of the hotel, I wasn't affec

Everything - the very large comfortable bed, the spacious room, the spotless bathroom. The owner was very accommodating - I asked for a vegetarian cooked breakfast and this was prepared for me, and it was superb! I would recommend this hotel to others without hesitation.

These apartments are very well appointed and are located close to Montpellier. We had an issue originally because we were allocated an apartment on the top floor which meant a climb involving 64 stairs We asked to be moved and to be fair the management did manage to accommodate us on the ground floor for the final two days of a four day booking.

What a stunning and beautifully presented apartment. We stayed in Apt 4 which had two bedrooms and an upper floor with gorgeous lounge and well equipped kitchen. We could live here!!! Fantastic. It has set the benchmark for all apartments we hope to find in the future and so convenient for central Cheltenham.

This is the fifth time I have stayed at the Green Dragon over the past 20 years, so that must give some indication. Actually got a lovely large room with a proper double bed !!! largebathroom with plenty of space to store luggage .... unlike some of theother "discount bookings" where you end up with a tiny noisy room in thebasement............ Self catering apartments were good as usual- some improvements noticeable eg outdoor table and chairs for relaxing on the deck, door wedges provided. All the usual niceties too like plenty of tea and coffee, toiletries, water and fruit in the gym, towels provided in th pool area etc -

The hotel was offering discounted rooms, which I took advantage of. It's a Hilton and the service was everything I expected, including staff who addressed you by name. - Peace and quiet in great surroundings!!

From the minute we checked in, the service was friendly, polite, simply wonderful. We booked a better room (3 stories) which felt like a mini hideaway with the bathroom spread over one floor with the most delectable products. The bed and bedding was Devine and hard to leave! Dinner that evening also surpassed our expectations and the crab bisque was one of the best I've ever had. Truly the best break from London imaginable and we can't wait to go back!

We chose Thistle Cheltenham because a few weeks earlier we had stayed in The Atlantic Tower - Thistle in Liverpool and enjoyed our stay so much we looked for the Thistle name for our visit to Cheltenham. The room was lovely and we have visited the hotel several times over the past 10 years and always enjoy returning to the Thistle Cheltenham. Lovely hotel and the breakfast was very nice. Most enjoyable stay.
