its is nicely situated on the east of Cheltenham ideally for walkers and business people. The staff are nice and friendly you get a good welcome and the owners will greet you when you arrive or see you off when you leave.
The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean there`s a few little added touches in every room.

This welcoming hotel just outside Cheltenham is on a quiet section of the A40, with views across the garden to the hills beyond. You can easily get into Cheltenham by bus and there are lots of walks in the surrounding countryside. The hotel has a conservatory, bar and restaurant (which we didn't try but the menu looked attractive). There are plenty of books and newspapers if you prefer to stay indoors. I was within walking distance of the General Hospital to be near my daughter when she was a patient. A similar distance in the other direction took me to the High Street where I filled my time in the shops and a cafe, and was met with friendliness and courtesty at Reception. I had the option to stay a further night if necessary, but I didn't need

- Cleanliness and all plugs, mirrors, lights etc. were in exactly the right place. We even had our towels changed on a two night stay. Breakfast also excellent.

It was all so homely and another worldy. Loved our bedroom number 8 overlooking the square. Yes, there was a little bit of traffic noise and mild rowdy youths reclaiming their car at night BUT it was atmospheric to feel part of a community. I loved it and I am usually adverse to noise.

The hotel building is beautiful outside and just a short walk from the River Thames at the back. The rooms are very spacious and the beds comfortable. Lechlade is a very attractive Cotswold village, with lovely houses and church.

The hotel and staff were excellent the staff were friendly and very helpful.The setting was lovely and the hotel was very clean and everthing at hand in our room.The breakfast was very good a vast choice and presented very well. - The room was furnished and cleaned to a very high standard. I strongly advise eating here also as the good is simple devine.
We ordered breakfast in bed which just made every morning just that little bit more special.
We will defiantly stay here again. Great staff, fantastic location. I can find nothing but good things to say.

The setting was fantastic for the wedding I attended, the corner double room I had provided a fantastic view of the cotswolds. The food and in particular the use of local produce, the staff and character of the hotel was superb. A little pricey at £7.00 for a large glass of wine but worth paying for the setting. - Staff were very very accomodating

This hotel was ideal for our short visit to the Cotswolds. It had been recommended to us and we were originally only going to stay for one night but were lucky enough to be able to spend three nights altogether. The restaurant attached to the Inn was perfect for us and the breakfasts were exceptional, especially the scrambled eggs and salmon - delicious! The cleanliness in the room and restaurant was outstanding. All of the staff were very friendly. Would thoroughly recommend this accommoda
