This is the fifth time I have stayed at the Green Dragon over the past 20 years, so that must give some indication. The location is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Slaughters Country Inn and the tranquil surroundings of what is a stunning village. The staff were very welcoming, very friendly and attentive throughout the stay. Our room, in the main building, had beautiful views over the rear garden and ponds. Our stay here was fantastic. If we were able to we would of stated longer.
I strongly advise eating here also as the good is simple devine.
We ordered breakfast in bed which just made every morning just that little bit more special.
We will defiantly stay here again. Great staff, fantastic location. I can find nothing but good things to say.

The food and in particular the use of local produce, the staff and character of the hotel was superb.
