The staff were very good and helpful- restaurant very acceptable with a very good (eat as much as you want) breakfast.
The rooms were typical Premier Inn-so you know what to expect and you know the quality to expect (Good).
Excellent location for the rail station and a short walk in to town. -

Staff were young but so polite, they were a credit to themselves and to premier inn.
Rooms quiet, bed huge, all staff in all areas acknowledged us, we have stayed in premier inns before but the service here was exceptional

my friends and i came to york for a couple of days there was supposed to be four of us but one pulled out so two were booked in your hotel i myself was booked into the travel lodge on arriving at premier inn we noticed that we could have all stayed in the one room but i went down to travel lodge and went to room i we were totaly dissgusted it was v

access to the city walls. Easy walking distance to the sites of the old
city. Effective air conditioning, which was necessary during the week we
were visiting.Overall, a very comfortable, family friendly business type

It is quirky in layout, yet has a very cosy feel. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and hot options cooked to order. All the big attractions are within easy walking distance. Close access to walking the city walls, great views and it's free!

The staff are amazingly friendly and really made us feel welcome. Everyone was cheerful, helpful and all round nice. It felt more like a family hotel than a chain hotel (and I mean that as a positive comment.)

This is a quaint hotel. Best accessible via car. However, easy accessvia bus. Should indicate bus route from downtown. Place is veryclean,beds are very comfortable. Good value for the money. Great location in central York, also one of the only hotels that allow one-night only booknigs. The rooms were lovely, great bathrooms all newly refurbished and airy. I left my sat-nav on show in my car, they even phoned me while I was out to let me know and then went to my room found my car keys and got it out for me! Would definitely stay here ag

I stayed here while visiting my daughter who lives in York and I found this hotel to be lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. At the bar the service was excellent and the breakfast (a buffet) had something for everyone's taste. The hotel was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. I had a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the road, a nightclub across from it, but it didn't bother my nights sleep in the least. The shower was lovely (a walk in shower) and very roomy. The staff were extremely helpful and suggested that we change our roomto meet my mother's needs (she'd hurt her foot at work and is scared oftravelling in lifts so we'd have needed to climb 6 floors to get to ourroom).
