The staff were very good and helpful- restaurant very acceptable with a very good (eat as much as you want) breakfast.
The rooms were typical Premier Inn-so you know what to expect and you know the quality to expect (Good).
Excellent location for the rail station and a short walk in to town. -

my friends and i came to york for a couple of days there was supposed to be four of us but one pulled out so two were booked in your hotel i myself was booked into the travel lodge on arriving at premier inn we noticed that we could have all stayed in the one room but i went down to travel lodge and went to room i we were totaly dissgusted it was v

Staff very accommodating, fantastic value for the money - lovely (if a wee bit old and tired) room with very carefully thought out details such as quality hot chocolate as well as tea and coffee in the room (with real cream for the drinks - not powered stuff). The staff are amazingly friendly and really made us feel welcome. Everyone was cheerful, helpful and all round nice. It felt more like a family hotel than a chain hotel (and I mean that as a positive comment.)

Great location in central York, also one of the only hotels that allow one-night only booknigs. The rooms were lovely, great bathrooms all newly refurbished and airy. I left my sat-nav on show in my car, they even phoned me while I was out to let me know and then went to my room found my car keys and got it out for me! Would definitely stay here ag

This is a quaint hotel. Best accessible via car. However, easy accessvia bus. Should indicate bus route from downtown. Place is veryclean,beds are very comfortable. Good value for the money. I stayed here while visiting my daughter who lives in York and I found this hotel to be lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. At the bar the service was excellent and the breakfast (a buffet) had something for everyone's taste. The hotel was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable.
