  Very central hostel within Derry. Location is spot on for those wishing to go out and about in the city centre. There is also good off-street parking.   The B & B would be a little difficult to find without a sat-nav. It is situated close to the town centre on the edge of the ‘Bogside’. The place is a little oasis in a sea of apartment blocks. When pressed he can even give tips on really great places to visit further afield. T - Joan (who runs the B&B) was very friendly and accommodating. Joan went out of her way to make our stay very enjoyable and she was very helpful in providing a map and pointing out all the bars/restaurants/shops across the city. The B&B is very close to the city (3-4mins walk) and restaurant/bars are near by. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. All in all, it was a great visit to Derry and when we go back, we will return to Amore B&

The location of the B&B was fantastic and couldnt be better placed to tour around the city.   I really appreciated Steve's email letting me know about the free bus from the rail station to the city centre, as well as all the local info that he gave me about Derry on my arrival at the hostel. I was upgraded to a two bed room at no extra charge, which was great. This is a very comfortable & centrally located hostel. Great small hostel with a very sociable common room for meeting fellow travellers. Well kept rooms and the facilities were great for self catering... Nothing better than free tea!   Colin the host was absolutely great!! He took his time and informed us well on what to do in Derry and elsewhere in Northern Irland. When we went to the local pub later in the evening, he was there and made sure to include us with the other backpackers from the hostel. It was very nice and cosy at the hostel and the breakfast was MARVELOUS! LOOOOOOVED IT!!!! :D - The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming. The kitchen was always open for us to sit in and use the cooking facilities. Continental breakfast was great, even had fresh bread. Bathrooms were shared but very nice. Beds were comfortable, 2 bunk beds in 4 person room. The location was great for attending the choral festival and the price was fantastic. Free wifi with no awkward log in was brilloant. I'd very much recommend to young people on a budget!
