I really appreciated Steve's email letting me know about the free bus from the rail station to the city centre, as well as all the local info that he gave me about Derry on my arrival at the hostel. I was upgraded to a two bed room at no extra charge, which was great. This is a very comfortable & centrally located hostel. It has the best breakfasts which are included in the price.
Helpful, friendly, accommodating staff especially Steve the owner. Great small hostel with a very sociable common room for meeting fellow travellers. Well kept rooms and the facilities were great for self catering... Nothing better than free tea! Safe and friendly area that added to the experience. Thank you Steve!. tous commentaires »
I really enjoyed the vibe/relaxed athmosphere in the hostel. It provoded an ease to my time there. Steve (The Manager) made me feel very welcome and gave me lots of information as regards to my stay in Derry. 5 *****.
Ne4w to hostels but was very surprised by this nice place. Great and friendly owner, Nice atmosphere. Very comfortable. would highly recommend.
The hostel was not full, so I got an upgrade into a beautiful room. It was lovely and cosy. No loudness there. Just perfect!.
friendly, Steve offered lots of information and is interested in guests; well equipped kitchen,.
Everything. Staff were amazing. Couldn't have been more helpfull.
Cheap cheerfull freindly and helpfull staff....
Location very central.
Nothing!.
Nothing.
no bedside lamp or light switch (so I had to get up to turn the light off); can be a bit noisy (depending on guests).
Nothing. Loved the city and hostel.
Bathroom quite dirty. Bed clothes old and decrepit. A general air of nobody in charge of business. The 'concierge' was not particularly friendly and would perhaps be better employed cleaning the place up rather than waxing his moustache. Quite expensive for what was on offer. Overall, I was disappointed.
