  Channings was an outstanding hotel. I was extremely impressed with the staff who were very friendly and helpful. As we arrived early they upgraded our room to one which was available and it was amazing, the biggest bath I had ever seen. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. - Good quality. Good staff.   The facilities and location were great, especially for the price. Even though we weren't that close to the main attractions, buses were right out the front door for wherever we wanted to go and the airport bus was close, as well. He greeted us most days out the back and was very pleased to get some good pats, just not keen on being pic - The staff were very friendly and nothing was a bother for them. David was our first point of contact and Colin (the older one...lol) was fantastic with my grand-daughter. Meals were excellent, there was a wide variety of drinks. The security locks in the corridors made us feel extra safe and the room we were in was very comfortable with a very spacious bathroom. Overall I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about this experience. Will Definitely be back. Thank you.

  We've stayed at Hotel Indigo in Glasgow which is fabulous and the Edinburgh one did not disappoint either. I believe it's only around 1 year old and this is evident in the decor of the hotel and the cleanliness - the rooms were immaculate! They are installing tram lines in the street but it still has access if you are arriving by car or taxi. Did not try the restaurant at night but menu looked good and fairly priced. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. A little bit pricey but for a stay during the Festival it was fairly priced compared to other optio
