Fantastic apartment in a great location, close to the main bars and shops etc. Someone came and met us at the apartment to show us around, how to use the heating, oven etc. The apartment had 3 bedrooms upstairs with 8 single beds then down a spiral staircase to the huge living space, kitchen and patio doors to an outside decking area. The whole family fell in love with apartment from the moment we stepped into the foyer for our meet and greet upon arrival.
Apartment was very spacious, high ceilings, large rooms and 1st class facilities including bath products in all bathrooms, Island bench,washing machine and dishwasher in Kitchen area. Complimentary Coffee, Tea, milk and sugar.

The Elder York Guest House is a lovely place to stay in Edinburgh! The location is excellent, walking distance to all attractions. There are road works going on, but these won't interrupt your stay and should be over soon. We were greeted on arrival in a friendly way and shown our very clean and spacious room, with bathroom ensuite. Our host offered an excellent recommendation for a pub for dinner. Spacious and comfortable- I think staff struggle when it is busy to be available but it does have a rather welcoming informality about the place. Don't worry about no breakfast- lots of cafe's nearby- I HIGHLY recommend "the Square" cafe round the corner- superb at very reasonable prices and lovely staff! Anthony stayed june 13 -
