  Thanks for a great experience in Edinburgh. The Randolph Mackensie really did prove to be one of the highlights of the trip. I've been apprehensive of guest houses but this place has removed any doubts for the future. The location was excellent, right at t - Leading up to our break, David was so helpful, keeping in touch regarding our check in and giving details on how to find the hotel. The hotel was a lovely surprise - we didn't know what to expect but it was cute & quirky and a fantastic find, we were really happy. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The vegetarian breakfast was deliciously unusual, I had a banana and burnt syrup pancake. The single room I rented was comfortably warm with it's own private entrance, separate from the main Guest House. - Warm and comfortable, enormous room, lovely vegetarian breakfast withwide selection of food and friendly staff. Excellent value for a guesthouseso close to the centre of Edinburgh. Also a lovely Italian restaurantdown the road!
