Breakfast was good value - just over £8 for unlimited buffet (inc. cooked breakfast) and unlimited Costa coffee.
My bedroom was spacious and the bed was really comfortable.
Location good - 5-7 mins walk to Princes Street and 10-15 mins walk to Royal Mile/castle.

Fabulous hotel. Staff were great, everybody was friendly and polite and went out of their way. Location is super, 2 minutes walk from haymarket station and 15 walk into Edinburgh city centre. Buses stopped outside the hotel to go to Princes street if you didn't fancy the walk. Food was good, we had breakfast and was lovely with lots to choose from. Didn't eat there otherwise but saw the food and it looked very nice. Rooms and beds clean and comfy. Great hotel.

Quick registration and departure at reception.Excellent double room with twin double beds which suited my sister and I. I like the brand new design for simplicity & comfort with excellent staff at the welcoming front desk. Every one at the check in or out counter has positive and helpful attitude towards guests from all over the world. Here I would like to pay special respect & thank them from the bottom of my heart. As for room cleanliness and security device from lobby to lifts and then to rooms, there is nothing to worry about. I like the picture like scenery from my room window. It is purely awesome,

The efficiency and friendliness of the staff, especially in the dining room. With a Premier Inn you know just what to expect, comfortable beds, cleanliness and welcome, at a reasonable price. Right from the minute the lift opened at reception area, we were very warmly welcomed by two lovely girls who were genuinely pleased to see us.

Stayed in the Premier inn on Princess street from the 2th to 23rd of Nov 2013. The Hotel is just a 5-7min walk from the waverly railway station and is directly opposite the famous Edinburgh Castle. Although we dint spend much time in the hotel and dint get a chance to dine in, but the Hotel was very nice, Clean and had all amenities one could ask for. A value for money hotel for people travelling to Scotland and are in a mood to Explore rather than stay in!

Excellent value. - I first booked at the Waterfront but found out that there was one closer to the city center when I reached Edinburgh and managed to change the booking. I was lucky they had rooms available and for the same price as well. Its called Express By Holiday Inn City Center.

This hotel was fantastic. The staff were amazing and could not do enough. The rooms were spotless with plenty of space and lovely bath with powerful over shower.
