Really enjoyed our stay - you could not meet a nicer or more genuine couple than Dot and her husband. The room was really nice with a lovely shower and big tv. Breakfast each morning was brilliant and had a nice choice of a fry or continental. The location is a bit outside the city centre (about £8-10 for a taxi at night) but during the day there

The room was spacious, lovely big bed, bathroom was fab, very clean and very comfortable.The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is outside of the city but the bus stops every 5 mins just outside of the hotel so its ideal and you avoid the heavy parking charges for staying in the centre. Breakfast was good with a hot and cold buffet available. We would definatley stay here again.

Nous avons été agreablement surpris par la taille et le confort de l'appartement. La station de bus au pied de l'hotel et la fréquence des bus rendent inutile l'utilisation d'une voiture. - La taille et le confort du lit, la qualité de la robinetterie (ce qui est rare en UK).

The hotel room was very spacious and quiet.The hotel location was in a nice area and easy to get into Edinburgh by bus we were able to park our car in the grounds and leave it there during our stay.Good food ,friendly staff and a nice hotel with character. WE WERE ALSO UPGRADED THIS MADE OUR EASTER TREAT EVEN MORE SPECIAL. - Five minute walk from Haymarket railway station. Everything was in walking distance, but good local transport for the less energetic. Easy to find. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a problem one evening when we had no hot water, but within five minutes staff were on site and water was restored.

We were extremely surprised by the quality of the hotel considering we paid 119 for a double room. Staff were of 5* quality, attached bar is fantastic with good beer, good food and live sport on big screens. Bedrooms are great. Would not hesitate to return. Plentiful parking for free at weekend and a 15min walk to centre. -

Caroline was great. She was very friendly, told us everything we needed to know and check-in was quick and efficient. The two bedroom, two bathroom, living room and kitchen apartment was huge and extremely clean. The breakfast was self serve, but great. The apartment was located on a nice quiet street about a 45 minute walk or 10 -15 minute cab ride from city centre.

The apartment is very located to the city center(10 mins walk). You don't need the car because evrything is at your fingertips. The place is quiet and very close to Tesco supermarket. The apartment was very clean and well provided. Good forniture and wi-fi. Car park is safe and it is near the building.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Our hostess, Linda is an absolute sweetheart. She was extremely helpful and very accommodating. Even after being late by almost 30 mins, she agreed to serve us fresh breakfast.

We loved the apartment. Just big enough for a couple, with a separate living area. Nice big comfortable bed in the bedroom. Free Wi-Fi. We only booked an apartment as we couldn't find a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with Fountain courts & the equipment , washing machine & dishwasher plus the usual.We found the apartment much more relaxing & we had more freedom about breakfast & dining in. Would definately stay here again.Staff were friendly & helpfull. Easy walk to the castle & city centre.
