Dined in the restaurant, staff very attentive. I lost count how many times they checked that everything was all right, even to the extent that one sweet girl asked several times if everything tasted good...

Besides the high standard of decor, views, best beds, great welcome staff at reception, rooms clean. Very inviting swimming pool, art on display.
Like the way the Hilton provides good quality toiletries but not excessive in amount. Pleasure to stay there. -

the rooms were comfortable, the staff I encountered were very good to deal with. didn't like the parking as I had my mother with me and she had to walk a distance; stairs were slow going but then I should have anticipated before arrival and queried. -

We loved everything. As the hotel was off the main road and slightly elevated there was a fabulous view across the lake and little traffic noise. The pool was a perfect temperature for the kids and getting them out was a problem. The room was spacious and very comfortable and felt just like home. Loved the underfloor heating. It was just perfect.

It was fantastic, will be back next time. We go around a lot of hotels/motels to see what's best. Really loved the friendliness of the staff. They accommodated our late arrival. Bar and pool were fantastic, plenty of car park space. Spacious room, many tv channels. Brilliant.

We could not arrive as scheduled due to a road blocking accident. Jacquie was understanding and allowed us to make the change without penalty. J. and staff were so helpful with information, breakfast, our luggage and dinner reservations at an excellent restaurant 5 minutes from the motel......highly recommended. -

Room very clean and well presented. Comfortable bed. Nice to have a semi-private outdoors seating area. This was a brief over-night stay so did not utilise any other facilities, but would definitely make this our 1st choice when staying in Taupo in future.

Love the setting right on the lakefront. The rooms are a good size with little balconies which have stunning views across the lake to the mountains. The in-room spa pools, also with a view of the lake are lovely. -

Pleasant motor inn right on the foreshore of Lake Taupo. Good value for a clean and comfortable room. Excellent facilities provided in the room. Good size bathroom with a spa bath and separate shower. Motel slighlty removed from the main restuarant area, which meant driving but also meant noise reduction.

Brand new facilities, newly and very tastefully decorated, good kitchen equipment, outdoor patio, very well located by the lake and the town centre. The staff were so friendly and went to great efforts to make sure the cot was comfortable for our baby and even provided a hooded baby towel which was really useful. We strongly recommend staying here

As some of the others have said , it doesn't look very exciting from the outside but inside is a different story. The rooms (and we stayed in two different ones) are very nicely decorated and have some unexpected but very welcome extras These included , a small stereo system with an Ipod dock, free cookies (yum!), magazines to read and a separate freezer. The service was friendly and helpful.

Our apartment was incredibly spacious, with our own internal access garage. We had our own spa bath, and a second toilet downstairs. The staff were helpful and friendly. The air conditioning was great. A huge bonus was the washing machine/dryer, with supplied washing powder, in our kitchen. -

We were able to check-in earlier than planned which was great, we could unpack and get out to explore. The room was large and clean with a comfortable bed,always important when travelling. The kitchenette was very handy and allowed us to save a little money and have a cooked meal instead. Thanks -
