Terrific location on Nrth side of Port. New developments nearby with marina and cafes, restaruants,bars etc...however, I loved the quietness of this locale and lodge. It was simple, clean and comfortable. Great views from all rooms, unobstructed to the sea and swimming beach. And at last a new tv NOT attached to a wall above my head. Hope to return in near future....

Adored the location - given a room right on the Ocean view - rooms are just suburb and luxurious - one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in AND THE PILLOWS....WOW!!! Loved them so much we are ordering a couple through your Crown Hotel to be sent to us. -
We stayed in a loft apartment and it was excellent. It was very well presented

I absolutely loved having room to put our 2 suitcases. We have travelled the world and never had the pleasure of this before and it makes me wonder - there are usually 2 people with a suitcase each. Usually we use a chair or something for the 2nd suitcase.

We had dinner in the hotel the first night as we were so tired but enjoyed the food so much, we went back the second night!!

We stayed at this hotel because we love the ambience and the art deco style in particular. This was about the best hotel I have ever stayed in! It was beautiful, beautifully renovated, comfortable, fabulously located and the staff were fantastically friendly and helpful, and appeared to love being at the hotel, as we did. Wonderful location overlooking the Marine Parade. Loved the art deco style, which was why we booked, so accepted the 1930's bathroom facilities as authentic, even though not luxurious. Our room had access to the balcony, a lovely feature, and was cool even though weather was hot. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant, excellent food, although would have liked more light to see what I was eating. Parked on nearby street, no problems. Very good value hotel.

Lovely greeting. Great clean room. Probably the disabled room as huge bathroom with spa bath included. Ask for downstairs room as no views to warrant lugging suitcases upstairs. Lots of suggestions from staff for eating out. Good drive along wharf area and up to Bluff lookout. Large frying pan and microwave which were great for a cooked breakfast.

We loved the room, it was close to the city centre without being among the bustle. The service was very good, parking was a bit crappy but we were able to park across the road. -
nicely re-furbished, very clean spacious room. Napier aint a big place but its well situated near bars, cafe, beach etc. Really enjoyed.

The staff were incredible. The place has everything you could want in a stay. Laundry machines all free (and full sized) parking, caring staff. Duvets sheeting and towels really good quality. Lots of fresh air!! -

Arrived from Auckland a couple of hours early before checkin time but was able to checkin as room was ready, loved that as was exhausted from a long trip down with the kids. Room clean & very comfortable for our family. Host was very hospitable. Enjoyed our stay very much along with the beautiful Hawkes Bay weather. -

The place was spotless and very well thought out with all the "how to's". e.g. how to get the best tap temp in the kitchen/shower, amenities. I especially liked the recycling bins for plastic glass etc. The location is exceptional too. We took the bikes and rode along the waterfront. It's only a short walk/ride from the bars near the viaduct. Also

Was staying with a group of friends who were in other rooms. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we were all by each other which was awesome. The 2 bedroom unit was extremely spacious and very clean. The bedrooms were huge and the beds very comfortable. It was an enjoyable stay -

This motel has the best layout configuration for a family of four. It has a double bed in the main and a separate room with two single beds. The main room has a small but elegant courtyard with a garden table where we could sip coffee or eating our breakfast. Lovely staff; they made our stay really enjoyable and easy. I would highly recommend At The Rocks Motorlodge to anyone. We'd love to stay there again, the rooms are beautifully set out. Positioned on the other side of the wharf, away from all the noise; nice and quiet.
