It was simply perfect down to the last detail. Very warm welcome and
nothing was too much trouble down to a complimentary toothbrush
delivered to the room when my daughter realised she had forgotten hers.

At the Legends is immaculate-even before you get in the door, the gardens are impressive. The interior was spotless, roomy and very comfortable. Location could not be faulted-literally across the road from the Plaza and less than a minute's walk from the Square. Yet despite being virtually in the middle of the city,the motel is remarkably quiet. When we left some belongings behind the owner went to great lengths to track us down while we were still in town and to return our things.

Easy to find Motel. The friendliness and helpful staff who penned in directions on the Palmerston North street map to where I was going the next morning. The lady also walked in the rain to where my suite was while I drove my car to park it outside. Very pleasant lady. I would stay there again. -

We were given a choice of rooms. The first was the booked and up to date small unit, and the 2nd option was in the older area and much bigger, which suited us better, with family calling, so we opted for that. It was still a great stay.
Our family stayed at a more up to date motel, closer to the park and we felt they would have been better to have

The owner was extremely kind and the motel is in such a great location. It's close to the city and yet quiet at the same time. It was such a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who's travelling to Palmerston North.

The owner went out of his way for us, even giving us an extra bed at 9pm one night. He also gave us amazing rates while we stayed there and was always friendly. We ended up with 2 cars there and it was not a problem to have them both parked outside our room. I also liked the fact their was a jar of coffee instead of sachets. -

and helpful, Palmerston north is quite an easy to navigate city and the
other road users are extremely polite. -

A perfect place for a nights rest -right by restaurants & some shops but also nice and quiet. The units have all the heating you need plus e/blanket & the bed very cosy. It is perfect for anyone who doesn't want luxury but wants all the facilities. Great filter coffee too.

Very comfortable, felt at home straight away! Great selection of movies, bed was ridiculously comfy, host was so accommodating and prepared delicious breakfasts at a time that suited you. Location is perfect, can walk into the square with plenty of food choices around you. Spa was in a lovely garden setting (great at night) and bathroom was lovely.
