The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, with nothing being too much trouble.
The unit we stayed in was extremely well presented with some really nice personal touches added. The kids absolutely loved our stay here and we were sad to leave.

Waiora Apartments was set in a lovely peaceful bush setting, lovely timber with lovely bed upstairs, clean and tidy. Downstairs was okay but only for sleeping really not a space you would want to have to stay in for a long time. I loved the calm and peaceful feeling of this place.

On arrival it was raining so we were sitting in the car waiting for it to pass over. They came out with umbrellas so we didn't get wet. They were very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. I am fussy about cleanliness but the place was spotless. We had an ocean view apartment and it was fabulous. Very quiet (although we did have a unit away from the road). Very clean
and tidy, good facilities, welcoming host. All good. Its near the treaty
grounds in one direction and the shops/cafes in the other. But
mostly I just love that they found my tablet charger before I even knew
I had lost it, and posted it on really quickly.

From checking in to leaving, this hotel if your looking for luxury on the beach is great, staff were very friendly & were happy to make tour bookings for us, our apartment was lovely, nice furnishings, lots of space and extremely clean. Walking distance to all amenities & great restaurants close by. And the beach across the road. We would definitely stay here again, apartments are great for families also.

The whole experience was fantastic, I was there for a few days with my work, I wanted a small motel that was clean, quiet, in a good location at a reasonable price.
I feel that I got that and much more, very friendly owners who went the extra mile, under cover parking, super fast wi-fi which was spot on and I took the continental breakfast option for only $10 extra, well worth it, well done, see you next time!

Great Location. All ameneties at hand, restaurants, shopping,
supermarkets etc. Lovely apartment and spacious balcony, ours
overlooking the sea. Miles of lovely clean beaches. Apartment was well
appointed and equipped including plenty supply of coffee, tea etc. bbq
was a good size. Jacuzzi was a nice treat. Ferries nearby to the local
attractions. Staff very helpful, welcoming and friendly.

We liked the access to bird life, the songs when echoing from swimming from the sea is wonderful. If you have to work and communicate anywhere the internet was good. -

Mike gave us a warm welcome on arrival, and he volunteered to drive us into town one morning.
The view from the room is spectacular, facing east into the rising morning sun over the bay.
The breakfasts were more than we could eat.

Chalet Romantica was one of - if not the best B&B we stayed in during our trip to NZ. Inge was very friendly and welcoming and made us feel quite comfortable on our first night in NZ. The location offers a gorgeous view of the Bay of Islands and is walkable to good dining options. The breakfast was marvelous! -
