My husband and I have just returned from 6 days in Penang. We chose Traders as it was close to the bus terminal and shops which was very convenient. We never used taxis as the bus system there is exceelent so it's easy to get around the main sites by bus at very cheap prices. Even though the terminal was just next door, the rooms are very quiet and getting a great night sleep was easy. The room was modern, well maintained and very clean. Everything was perfect. The rooms are very clean. The idea of not having a lot of carpeting is good as the room doesn't feel dusty.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. You feel like in 5 star hotel, altough the price was only like 3 star hotel. Room was nice and big. We asked if we could check out a bit later and they said it was ok, this was a really nice thing to us! There was many nice places to eat near the hotel. - the location is conveniant
