When I check in early, the hotel provides a suitable waiting area for our children to play and surf the internet. Breakfast is delicious and wide selection, you must try the 'nasi lemak' and 'sambal', the most delicious of the other dishes. Swimming pools are a wide and appropriate for our children. Staff were exceptionally friendly & welcoming - made us feel totally at home. We were upgraded to a suite which was a lovely room & wrap-around balcony - perfect for 2 adults & 2 kids. It was my birthday while there, and I was pleasantly surprised with a cake!

Some of my ratings don't really do justice to this unique and beautiful hotel. Amazing setting, very helpful staff. The fittings of the hotel are perhaps a little tired in places, and they are currently part way through a major refurb...which will probably double the price! For now it remains a bargain to stay in such stunning surroundings.......g

It was excellent stay! Very clean, neat hotel. Room has fan on the ceiling and effective quiet air con. All rooms are with sea view, so at night only fan was enough because of sea breeze. We decide to book this hotel after reading all positive reviews here,and it was the best decision!
The hotel is very nice,done in Colonial style with all modern facilities that can be offered! We got the room on the 2nd floor (exact same pics. as from the website),we had bathtub on the balcony,so that we could relax open air while listening the waves from the beach.
The breakfast was very good,rich choice of both Asian and Europe/American style, served open air.

My husband and I have just returned from 6 days in Penang. We chose Traders as it was close to the bus terminal and shops which was very convenient. We never used taxis as the bus system there is exceelent so it's easy to get around the main sites by bus at very cheap prices. The strategic location of the apartment. Various types of food stalls within a walking distance. The apartment surroundings is clean and peaceful. You don't have the feeling like you are in the heart of town. Most importantly the staffs (Linda & a her new colleague) that greeted us was friendly and Linda even remembered me as this was my second visit to Noble Villa after 1 year.

Fantastic. Best hotel I ever stayed at. The staff knows how to provide service and makes you feel at home. We stayed at the Rasa wing. At the pool side staff provides fresh fruits an cold towels twice a day. All soft drink are free of charge and at the lobby lounge free tea, sandwiches and cake are served between 3 and 4. Between 6 and 7 freewine, cocktails and snacks are served.
If you want a quiet breakfast it will be served to you, but in their "cofee" shop there is a buffet breakfast second

This is the second time I stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Penang. Was with three other friends and we checked into two adjoining hill view rooms on the 5th floor. The view was not as great as the sea view rooms and there were no balconies but it cost a lot less too during the peak holiday season so no complains. The check-in was quick (less than 5 minu

The staff was not only friendly but helpful. We were in Penang with another family and my parents and did not arrange anything with the hotel in advance. There were no van rentals available but the concierge tried and made a few phone calls for us and did manage to one for us. We were really grateful to them for even trying.
The pool was fabulous and my children (9, 5 and 4) absolutely LOVED it.

Led by Nardya and Roberto, the entire staff of the hotel is providing excellent services and are very hospitable. They are happy to recommend the local eateries in the area which is very nice of them. Nonetheless I would recommend to taste the pizza in their restaurant Il Bacaro which is great.

Beautiful heritage house right in the heart of Georgetown, an easy walk (in blistering heat!) to most of the key places to visit.
The owners and staff were exceedingly friendly and professional, and the room was very comfortable.
The house has been beautifully restored, with as much attention to detail in the common areas as the bedrooms.
The huge, tasty breakfast was also a bonus!
