Flat screen tv with multiple satellite channels. Kitchen well stocked daily with breakfast/snack items. Reception/housekeeping more than helpful and friendly. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was a bother to them. Apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly want or need, right down to the little extra touches of milk in the fridge and a very informative and useful welcome pack. This facility is ideal for a multiple night stay. With full kitchen, bath, and laundry facilities in a luxury apartment setting, it was an ideal home-away-from-home getaway. The value of the apartment was far greater than that of a hotel room in our opinion. The staff was helpful in every way and the amenities provided were excellent. It is close to the bus lines and also easy to walk to many of the lovely places in Leith and Edinburgh.

We chose this because we don't like to be in the center of the big towns we visit. Even if it is a little bit far from the Edinburgh centre, the bus connection is excellent and at a few steps from the house. The Portobello beach is also close, a stunning place, really worth a visit.
Loved the host, very nice lady and very pleasant. Loved the stories she told me about the house. Very good recommendations also.

We stayed in apartment 11 on the third floor. The view was incredible of
St. Giles Cathedral. The location superb two blocks from the castle.
Many restaurants and shops on the royal mile. Many tourists but inside
the apartment calm and relaxing. A bit of noise at night as shops and
restaurants were cleaning up and ghost tours ending but by 11pm all went
quiet until about 7am. We enjoyed our stay as it was close to everything
including Waverly train station.
