  We had a fabulous one night stay at The Chester Residence. Staff were very helpful and the suite was fantastic. All rooms were very spacious (we had the 1st floor suite) and the location was only about 5 minutes walk from Haymarket and Princes Street. This was our first stay in a serviced appartment and we would highly recommend a stay here, beats ... что говорят » a stuffy hotel any day of the week! - The location was fairly close to the center of the city (20 minute walk). The neighborhood was quiet and clean. Flat screen tv with multiple satellite channels. Kitchen well stocked daily with breakfast/snack items. Reception/housekeeping more than helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone and return to this hotel without a doubt.

Shown to our lovely room, offered coffee and Angela gave us lot's of information on places to go, eat etc. It was great not having to use the car for 3 days as the bus stop not far and took us into Edinburgh. There were many many more choices if you did not want the cook - We chose this because we don't like to be in the center of the big towns we visit. Would definitely recommend for - We stayed in apartment 11 on the third floor. The view was incredible of St. Giles Cathedral. The location superb two blocks from the castle. Many restaurants and shops on the royal mile. Many tourists but inside the apartment calm and relaxing. A bit of noise at night as shops and restaurants were cleaning up and ghost tours ending but by 11pm all went quiet until about 7am. We enjoyed our stay as it was close to everything including Waverly train station.
