Perfectly positioned for all of the area’s main attractions, this recently refurbished Victorian building is situated in Kempton, one of the most attractive areas of Brighton.
Only recently named as a city, this popular seaside resort has a lively marina and many attractions for both adults and children. The famous Arts Festival in May attracts some of the world's finest performers and artists, but Brighton is bursting with theatrical and musical events all year round.
The Alvia Hotel is ideally located just off the seafront, close to the centre of Brighton, with most of the major conference and meetings venues, including the city's major convention centre - the Brighton Centre - only a short walk away.

Good friendly staff, excellent breakfast just a shame it was only available between 8 - 9 which is a little early particulary on weekends. The location was good to enable easy access to seafront, town and marina. Staff very friendly and accommodating. High Standard of breakfast, cleanliness. The room was very nicely decorated, for a small room it felt quite spacious (although the same could not be said for the bathroom).Room info mentioned fresh baked bread and smoked salmon would be available but weren't on the menu also bath towels a little small my OH likes a nice big bath sheet. I found it hard to find staff during the day which was a bit of a problem on occasion.only the breakfast time its 8am-9am,it could be extended to 9.30am or 10am,as gives time to wake up . Just one thing it wasn't really mentioned that it was on quiet a busy road so noise was a bit of a problem constant traffic noise.Amount of room in bathroom/toilet was very small, especially for tall people. shower is draining and having to book out by 10.00 on sunday was not good.room was not the one we booked and was rather small but very clean good location excellent breakfast. The decor clashed in the room between modern and traditional and the colours used but it might have been in the middle of being refurnished. If you don't get an allocated parking space (they only have 4), it can be hard to find parking nearby. I felt the hotel was over priced. The Room,2, very very small approx 8ft x 9ft. A two night stay was about as much as we could of managed. Scalfolding positioned outside window and window also looked in window of next door, a elderly gentleman able to see us in our room. Meaning we needed to keep our curtains closed. WC door was unable to close, and no mirror allowing us to do our hair and makeup.I felt it was a little overpriced. The size of the bathroom. We were on the top floor, which meant we had to climb quite a few stairs.
