  The best aspect of this hotel is that it is about 5 minutes walk to the gondola or a little more to the train station. It has an area for your skis and a warm room for your ski boots. The staff was very nice and the dinner we had there was very tastey. Breakfast was the usual European fair. It is about a 10 minute walk into town along a quiet path... mitä ihmiset sanovat » . The beds are comfortable. - Excellent service, friendly staff and great food. Our stay at the hotel really was the icing on the cake for the entire stay in Engelberg! I've been going to different places in the alpes for six consecutive years now and this is by far the best hotel I've stayed at (regardless of number of stars)!

  Luzern is a beautiful city and we enjoyed our time there. We had a good sized room and the staff were very helpful. Parking is underneath the hotel. It was a better than the average Ibis. The train station is only a 7 min walk from the hotel and it takes only 4 min to get into Luzern. This hotel is 7 mins walk (in the direction to a car showroom, a large white tent) from Kriens Mattenhof train station, just one stop from Lucerne central station.   This was a really "cool" hotel! My husband and I stayed with our 9 year old and 15 year old, and all of us loved it. The amenities were amazing - the pool was heated with relaxing music and modern lighting.   The staff was very friendly .. I call them before I arrived by 2 hours to let them know about my expected arrival time and they were waiting for me even when I was late half an hour. The taxi took 24chf to take us from the train station to the apartment. You can use bus#20 it's easy to use and only 10 min ride from the station to the apartment. Good location outside the town with nice views and close to bus station and a grocery store
