  The location is tremendous! I travelled with my wife and another couple. We spent 3 nights here to start our trip then rented a camper van to travel the country for a week. OK Hotel is on the best main tourist street in the city. That being said, we stayed out late (some bars are open until 0600) on a Saturday night and the hotel is far enough removed tha - Everything went very smoothly - there's no one physically on reception, just a telephone to ring for details of how to get the key etc, but we had no problem arriving at midnight and there was always someone on the other end of the phone if we needed help or information. Very accommodating letting us leave our bags somewhere for a while after check out. Very well equipped kitchen with crockery, utensils etc. and we appreciated the fact that there was already tea and coffee available. Excellent

  This place must be the best value in Reykjavik. I walked into my room and had a mini-jaw drop as I saw the quality of the furnishings, the comfortable bed, the NEWness of everything, and a well-stocked kitchenette. Breakfast is a tray of goodies - bread, jams, cheese. They also provide cartons of milk and orange juice that you are free to use up.... mitä ihmiset sanovat » Our kitchenette featured a sink, toaster, mini-fridge, and basic cooking equipment (pots and pans). The front desk staff is VERY nice and helpful. P - Everything was great - clean, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped (wifi in room, kitchen facilities, ipod dock), and the bath was lovely. The staff were friendly & helpful, dealing with some of my tourist queries including phone calls to local tour companies. The location is very central and you can walk to all shopping, bars, restaurants, harbour etc. Most tour companies pick up and drop off outside the hotel.

  Honestly, what's not to love about this hotel/apartment/suites? We fall in love with it the minute we walked in and was very sad when we had to leave. The location is great, very close to almost everything. Although, one thing I would like to mention, the road that it is currently sitting on being worked on. There is a parking garage right across the road, make sure you let the - Tastefully furnished; loved the reading alcove and many skylights and exposed wooden beams of the top suite. Excellent location - just one street over from the main shopping/dining street which can get noisy during the weekend. The breakfast was more than enough for 3 people, with delicious sourdough bread left hanging on your doorknob every morning. Goose down comforters and Icelandic wool blankets were really cosy. Good soundproofing muted the construction sounds which began at around 8 A.M.
