  The reception had been really nice and helpful. He recommended a transitional Icelandic restaurant to me and helped me booking tours and offered tourism advices. I love the kitchen, it's cozy, clean and open for 24 hours. It is such a nice and warm hostel and it is highly recommended. - It was so clean, and you didn't check in, you got an email telling you how to get into the hostel / your room. I arrived at 2 am and went right in and went to sleep. It is nicely decorated and so many things to read to show you what to do. The owner called a bus for me to get me back to the airport and I saw her eating lunch with some guests - she is very nice. I felt very safe.

They answered questions, confirmed tours, made phone calls to check on things in other towns, made great suggestions about places to eat and buy things, and gave directions to get around.   The location is tremendous! I travelled with my wife and another couple. We spent 3 nights here to start our trip then rented a camper van to travel the country for a week. OK Hotel is on the best main tourist street in the city. That being said, we stayed out late (some bars are open until 0600) on a Saturday night and the hotel is far enough removed tha - Everything went very smoothly - there's no one physically on reception, just a telephone to ring for details of how to get the key etc, but we had no problem arriving at midnight and there was always someone on the other end of the phone if we needed help or information. Very accommodating letting us leave our bags somewhere for a while after check out. Very well equipped kitchen with crockery, utensils etc. and we appreciated the fact that there was already tea and coffee available. Excellent
