  A lovely little guesthouse with kind, helpful and trustworthy owners. The guesthouse is nice, simple and clean and the breakfast room has a view over the fjord. Owners have good knowledge of the area and great local tips for places to visit.   Excellent location for those who plan to see birds on cliff Latrabjarg. You almost don't have a choice of hotels in this case. It's better to go to cliff Latrabjarg in the evening, so it's best hotel location. But room is clean, good and warm. Bed is really comfortable.   The owners went out of their way to make us welcome. I had contacted them in advance about somewhere to eat and they opened their cafe and cooked us a meal - The Pirate House Cafe near the harbour is to be recommended. Appearances can be deceptive - the hotel looks rather austere on the outside but inside it is modern and bright and very comfortab... mitä ihmiset sanovat » le. Excellent breakfast too. - The building seems a bit of a work-in-progress, with access to the room via a very steep staircase, but overall we had a nice stay. The shared bathroom was clean and available, the breakfast was quite good, the location is excellent in a place where accommodations are limited. The price is pretty high for this type of hotel (hostel, really) even in Iceland.

  The hotel is very new. Everything is clean and neat = typically Icelandic = very minimalist. The beds and bed linen were wonderfully comfortable.
