  The rooms were bright and clean and the hotel upgraded us to a Junior Suite because it was our wedding. They had some chocolate strawberries waiting for us in the room. The lady of the house was extremely helpful and kind: she ordered us a tour plus a taxi to the airport since we wanted to save a bit time due to our early morning flight.   Shaun and the people who work at the Laxnes cant do enough for you. We had to change plans a number of times and nothing was too much trouble. They gave us great advice on the things to do and more importantly what not to do in terms of paying far too much for taxis and how to use the transport system. Local knowledge goes an awful long way.
