  I liked it so much, over my expectaions, The Hotel location is good, the triple room was very clean, the breakfeast was fresh and tasty, the stuff was very kind and the price was great.   Great budget family run hotel with fabulous gourmet restaurant.Good location within walking distance to the center of Amboise. We stayed not in the main building but in separate cottage facing beautiful old garden. The staff was very helpful (the owner and his wife are always at the front desk). The hotel was attractive and stylishly decorated and the room was charming. There is a delightful garden area and the meals at the restaurant were exceptional as was obvious from the locals who also were dining there. We had such a good time and would love to go back.

  The hotel is modern, well furnished and clean. The concierge is really nice and speaks really good English (which in France is a really big one!). He was also pretty helpful and froze our cooling packs for us and everything. The room was perfect for two persons and the bath was big, bright and clean. Free parking in front of the hotel. We spend one more night there than originally planned and after seeing another hotel on the night after in the same price range I can say: wo - As always this hotel provided exactly what was required for an overnight between England and the South West of France. Friendly reception, clean comfortable rooms and breakfast. The restaurant over the road where evening meals are available is under new management.

  The hotel is older but recently renovated and the facilities were very good. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. While the hotel is a little way from the city centre, it is only about a 10 minute walk away. There are some small restaurants close by but you need to explore a bit to find them. There is no lift, so if you are unable to walk up stairs or carry heavy bags up - Wonderful and helpful host. Charming vintage small French family-run hotel.   The Chef produced the best food we had in France on our trip. It was close to Amboise where we wanted to visit. Several of the staff spoke good English. Great shower. The local patisserie was excellent. - Rooms very comfortable, lovely restaurant, quiet, staff very helpful. Used it as an overnight stop on our way further south.
