The Chef produced the best food we had in France on our trip.
It was close to Amboise where we wanted to visit.
Several of the staff spoke good English.
Great shower.
The local patisserie was excellent.
Rooms very comfortable, lovely restaurant, quiet, staff very helpful. Used it as an overnight stop on our way further south.

No jug or tea service in the room.
Pillows were too low.
The options for choosing the room on letsbookhotel.com was inaccurate - we booked two rooms for our family as the family room was listed for children under 5 on a sofa bed yet there was a full sized bunk in a room attached to ours. Could have saved 60 Euro! The breakfast was listed on the site as inclusive in the room price but it is not.
It was not open when we arrived at 5.30pm and although a 'phone number was there to be used if we had a reservation, we were nervous of using it as our French is not very good and we prefer to deal face to face. There was nowhere to get a drink, either at the Hotel or in the village until the Hotel restaurant opened at 7.15pm.
In spite of being a small village, St Martin has more traffic than you
usually find in French villages.
