Everything was fab, the staff, the room, the bar staff they couldn't do enough for us, the hotel was beautiful, the breakfast was buffett self service, eat as much as you like and it was well worth eating - Reception staff changed our room so that we wouldn't be disturbed when they determined we were not part of a wedding function at the hotel

The food was excellent, the staff were obviously well trained and friendly, there were plenty of small parts that added up to a very pleasant stay such as milk in jugs and not cartons, somewhere for the cartons at breakfast, good quality serviettes at mealtimes, clean corridors where it was difficult to keep clean (we ran a finger along a dado rail!) and, joy of joys there was a Country & Western night in their extension and not one sound escaped!

Beautiful venue. Extremely polite staff even at 1am when I checked in drunk after a friends wedding. The gentleman on reception called me sir despite me staggering in with beer down the front of my suit looking anything but a sir! Luxury rooms great setting in the cheshire countryside. Tad expensive tho -
