The Abbey Inn was a great price per night and that included a fab breakfast. The Staff were all very friendly and helpful, even before we left the country they were advising me via email about buses and taxis etc. The busy bar downstairs was comfortable and the food was excellent. -

Excellent value for money. This Hotel had all the atmosphere of good hotels of twenty or thirty years ago. The comfort of the hotel which had a lovely warm feeling the minute you enter the front door. Food is of a high standard and had a well presented breakfast both mornings. Unfortunately we didn't have dinner this stay as we were going friends in their home but have dined in the evenings on previous stays and enjoyed an excellent dinner at a very reasonable price. Just love staying here.

What amazing and excellent value for money. Received a lovely warm and
friendly welcome. Great west end location. The bed linen was freshly
laundered (smelled lovely!) and we both had a great night's sleep in
a very comfortable bed - best sleep for ages. Good powerful shower with
plenty hot water. Continental breakfast was also excellent with lots of
choice - have developed a taste for waffles since my stay!
If the owners were to invest a little in upgrading some elements, they could have a fab

This hotel was excellently placed for the function we were attending. It was clean and comfortable and despite asking for a room at the back, thinking it would be quieter, we had a room at the front in the basement which was quiet and also large so there was no need to complain. A great little hotel excellent location for byers road and the west end. Stayed in an executive room which was nice and big and clean. Receptionist was very nice and very helpful and although it says no parking there is a small car park at the rear. Would recomend and will use again.
