  The resort is about 2 mins drive from the centre of lamai and the owners Dave and Paul happily drive all the guests to and from town. Nou and El are both superb and extremely helpful. The rooms are well furnished and very clean. - Very clean and comfortable, really nice personal service. great pool and bathing area.

  The hotel is beautiful, and staff top notch. The attention to detail and special touches at every turn were outstanding. The pillows and bed were the most comfortable I have slept on in Thailand, I was ill for a day upon arrival,and spent the better part of a day in bed. You cannot believe how they pampered me. I love - From the time we walked into the lobby were we greeted by the a friendly staff. The four days we were there the staff was always available to answer our questions. Things about the island, spa, food, excursions and the hotel. We are planning a visit in December and looking forward to the stay.

I can even buy Thai Baht from my local anz - I liked the ambience and the architecture of Buddy. The staff were always helpful and friendly. the complex has a good variety of shops and restaurants although I mostly chose to eat at the nearby New Hut for budget reasons and preferred to try "authentic Thai" food with fellow travelers. The pools were beautiful although on my second last day whilst lounging at the big pool a snake fell out of a over hanging palm and landed on my chest, however I don't blame the resort for that.   A great hotel and great staff. Really nice breakfast and really nice rooms. The restaurant was surprisingly good. The beachfront is a bit basic; Take a taxi to Chaweng Beach for 300 Bht or a tuc tuc for 150 Bht - Really nice and clean hotel.
