  The whole atmosphere @ Buddy!! I'm planning to return to Koh Samui as I fell in love with the place & Buddy Oriental. The staff were always helpful and friendly. the complex has a good variety of shops and restaurants although I mostly chose to eat at the nearby New Hut for budget reasons and preferred to try "authentic Thai" food with fellow travelers. The pools were beautiful although on my second last day whilst lounging at the big pool a snake fell out of a over hanging palm and landed on my chest, however I don't blame the resort for that.   The hotel is beautiful, and staff top notch. The attention to detail and special touches at every turn were outstanding. The pillows and bed were the most comfortable I have slept on in Thailand, I was ill for a day upon arrival,and spent the better part of a day in bed. You cannot believe how they pampered me. I love - From the time we walked into the lobby were we greeted by the a friendly staff. The four days we were there the staff was always available to answer our questions. Things about the island, spa, food, excursions and the hotel. We are planning a visit in December and looking forward to the stay.

  The service and the people are beyond excellent. Very nice room ambiance and cleanliness. Beautiful environment. Worth the money. The food was exquisite. The view is breathtaking.
