It is located very close to the beach and convenient to other shopping areas. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I would stay there again. Great for the money. Old but very clean and neat. Had all I could use for the family including a coffee pot. It's not bad for the price, the location was centrally located to everything such as restaurants, shops and beach. All within walking distance! The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and parking lot was clean.

"Are you serious?" is what I asked myself when I swa it. I went to verify that I had to actually pay as I was a guest at the hotel and the staff informed me that the ice machine was broken and that was the only machine in the entire hotel. They could have told me that at check in and maybe I wuld have picked up some ice at the store while I was out. The room looked similar to a . The price, stove, refrigerator, TV's. The location was pretty good because it was not far from the beach and other attraction. Close to the beach. I guess I was expecting to be on the top floor with a view of the beach from the description of the suite. It still worked out ok and was very convenient to the beach. I am really not disappointed. Parking was a little small and the shower head needs to be replaced. Nothing. The place was perfect for my reasons for travel. The number of smokers outside room doors was annoying and crept inside non-smoking rooms. There should be designated smoking areas. The cleaning staff was short handed and two days out of 6 they didn't get to our room before 4Pm when we wanted to be preparing for dinner. We stayed four nights and the room did not get cleaned, even though we requested it get cleaned two days in a row. The staff gave a different excuse every day for why they didn't clean, including insisting my wife and I lied about requesting the room be cleaned. Our conclusion is that it's their internal policy not to clean until guests check out. Oh, and they were knocking on our door an hour before check out wanting to know when we were leaving so they could clean the room. The Navy jets flying over from 6am thru 11pm. No fault of the property, it's just located close by Oceana NAS. Would not let us use pool after 11 / checkout, we didnt check in until 10 pm, so didn't get to use pool. Would of liked to have the option to use it on the day we checked out, as we were hanging around area that day!. no information about tv chanels was frustrating. We loved everything about our stay!. Pool was very Small. No daily maid service was provided (beds were not made nor towels changed) and the room smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals upon arrival. would rather had pull out couch instead of futon and bigger pillows. They need to get just a little softer beds. The discomfort of the beds could be from where I am used to staying strictly at home but overall great experience. No amenities, they provided no shampoo or toiletries except for soap. There was no blow dryer in the room. They charge you for ice. This is a bare bones hotel. Parking was a problem. Cooking pans. One bed was as hard as a plank, and there wasn't a coffee maker in the room. Needed a partition separating kitchen from rest of the "bedroom". not enough parking. No coffee maker or hair dryer. Pillows had plastic coverings and were not very comfortable. Need small kitchenette. The cinderblock walls, n uncomfortable beds. Beds were hard and only could park one car hard to ravel with six people and have only one car. no heat. Smell, no dishes, no pots and pans. Maids came in one time and gave us towels but never took out the trash. Futon very uncomfortable. Only two chairs in dining area. When we arrived, The room was not completely clean and it smelled horrible. The room was not what we expected from the pictures posted online. We found trash from the previous guest and even a sex under the matress. When we brought it to the managers attention, he was rude and arrigant about the situation. Would not give us a refund or another room. We travel alot and the Beach Carousel was this worst place that I have ever stayed. Room was not very clean not roomy feel did not get quality or quantity for price.
