The price was very affordable. The beds were very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for where we were going! It was a fantastic hotel for what we needed it for!nI will definitely be staying here again. Everything was just great. We spent three nights there and we were out all day. Everyone was very kind that worked there. Best Budget Inn Sandusky was conveniently located.
all reviews » The readiness and quickness of check in and out. Good price clean room close to destination. It was exactly what we where looking for. It was affordable. it was clean. Location to Cedar Point and shopping/restraunts was perfect. The pool was nice. The lady at the front desk was helpful. The close proximity to cedar point..didn't have to pay the same price for the room I booked, but didn't get. I like the room very ,roomie, also no smoking room,and first floor no stair. We stayed 3 nights and was very budget friendly. (You get what you pay for). Room was cost effective for Cedar Point. Just needed a place to crash. Price and location Friendly staff Helpful, polite. The room was budget friendly and convenient. parking right in front of our room. The location and price were good. The staff was nice. That's it. Staff was friendly. The price. The price ,,, they did give $20 in vouchers to use until October 2014, which was an 'eh' solution, considering it is rare that we spend the night when we go to Cedar Point. I would have preferred some money back or a clean room. Nothing...Filthy dirty, mold growing on the walls, unbelievable stink, dirty carpets that have not been swept. Disgusting but was too late to find another room. Where the pool was located. There was no refrigerator. Nothing. The pool being outside as it was raining all weekend. Web site said breakfast but was only coffee. No biggy. letsbookhotel.com said they had breakfast but they did not. The smell the first night we were in the hotel smelt like an old person's house, the lights worked when they wanted to, and the pool was green. It was the first hotel I've ever seen use actual keys instead of cards for keys. It was dirty. Sheets on one of the beds wasnt changed and was soiled. Previous persons trash left in room. Walls were dirty. Underwires of a bra left rusting in front of our door. We made a joke of it like it was an adventure. Went out and bought blankets ourselves to cover dirty beds. My highschool-age daughter was horrified. She thought there were hookers in the parking lot. It was just for one night. Beds were actually comfy. It made for a rememberable trip :). Dirty floor...gum stuck to the carpet..bathroom sink dripped all night...musty moldy small, had to buy air freshener...didn't get the room that I booked. Did not like the bed too soft, could not take a bath, clerk charge me for three room support been two. The web site said breakfast was encluded it was not. It also says laundry service is available it was not. When asked about a local laundry mat the worker was unable help with this matter. She did not know the local area. We booked a non smoking room and was given a smoking room we had to ask to have a new room. There was no fridge or microwave in the room. Absolutely no amenities. Very small TV's, no microwave or fridge, no snack machines, and the fool was not even filled. Room was very dirty. Did not use shower. Walsh and floor especially dirty. Three guests in our reservation but only two sets of towels. The only complaint that I have is that it was very dated.It really needs an update. a/c made noise, toilet would not always stop when flushed, beds were not comfortable. Noisy person in hallway knocking @ someones door & sitting in hallway@1 am. The room was dirty. There was trash, hair clips, odds and ends left from previous people that had stayed. When I booked the room, I specified that there would be 4 people but there were only 2 towels in the room. The windows were extremely grubby and dirty. There were long black hairs all over one of the bedspreads. There were stains all over carpet, bugs on the wall, the shower was still wet from previous people, there were bugs in bathroom. (Centipedes and beetle things) hardly any toilet paper left on our roll, trash half full. And other people's hair all over the bathroom. I was disgusted and could hardly sleep, we left the 2nd night to another hotel. This place needs a total MAKEOVER. Paint was chipping off in places, paint peeling off the ceiling, the bed was like sleeping on plywood. I literally felt like I was staying at a hotel from a damn horror movie. We seriously debated on packing our bags and going next door to the Hamptons. We SO would not stay here again even if it's the cheapest place to stay. Floor was dirty, looked like hadn't been vacuumed. Phone was gross. Water dripping from exhast fan in bathroom. Spider webs in window and corners of room. Room was dirty and smelled of mildew we actually went and purchased Lysol and air freshner just to be able to sleep in the room for one night. it was run down holes in ceiling no maintenance. old, smells, definately not updated to 2013 more like the 70's. Towels were not clean, room smell badly. The booking stated that 'Breakfast was included' This is an false statement. Based upon other reviews, this has been there for about 3 years! How was this not fixed yet?. Couldn't ever find a staff member. Wifi did not work. There wasn't breakfast like it said. Room looked nothing like the picture on website. It was dirty! I had to rinse dead bugs out of the shower, along with hair. It had not been vacuumed, their was trash left from the previous people, it was musty, the beds were uncomfortable and dusty. See other box. I didn't like anything. It was filthy dirty, stinking, moldy, weeds growing at the door. Disgusting. The hotel room smelt like musty wet clothes. The room was very dirty. Price was too expensive for what you pay for. I will NEVER stay here again. The room was as small as a closet. The bed was as hard as a board. And I would never ever stay there again. And this hotel should be removed from your site. After booking weeks ahead and receiving confirmation, the hotel over booked and did not have a room for us. The lady at the front desk showed us rooms that were not cleaned. The whole experience was awkward and unusual. Would never stay here even if I were offered a free stay. Horrible!. Room was less than expected because of cleanliness. The beds weren't changed daily and was not very well cleaned daily. Advertised as furnished breakfast nothing was available nor hadn't been forever not recomended!.
