While the hotel is in need of decor updating, we had no complaints. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. We had requested a quiet room and the proprieter placed us on the third floor in a corner room off the main street and it was perfect, we were able to sleep with the window open to get the cool air off the beach and not hear a sound. The room was small but for two people it was "cozy" and just enough space since we travel to see the local area not the inside of a hotel room.

My second requirement is a good shower--this was also excellent in fact he has some type of system which gives the shower instant and controlled heat. Loved it. Three blocks to the beach and very affordable who wouldn't want to go there?. The location was perfect! Parked the car and walked any-where we needed/wanted to go. Room was clean; tv, microwave and fridge all worked. Bathroom was clean. This is a great place to spend a couple of days at the beach; also it is one of the few places you can reserve a room for one night. Great location. Steps from the beach and boardwalk. Fun spots nearby like Victoria's Cafe, Blue Moon, and tons of others. Bike rental across the street. Walk. Walk. Walk to everywhere!. Close to the beach. The price was right for 4th of July week. This is not your luxury hotel but for a family of 5 on a budget it was what we needed and had a great week. The location was great. I didn't need much, the room has a bathroom and bed which was plenty. Had a great time and Dan was very pleasant. Would definitely stay again. The fastest I was ever checked in and went to my room. The location was such I didn't need my car for anything.Very friendly manager. the owner hanging towels and sheets out to dry, solar panels on roof. My earth thanks you. Location can't be beat. My kids (age 9 and 6) didn't care about the room, though, so also recommended if you are on a budget and have kids. It was close to the center, the man who played the piano was nice and let us use his umbrellas and a cork screw, hospitable, but the other staff were foreign students and they were unprofessional. It was close to the beach, just a few blocks away. The area around the hotel was nice. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly. Nothing! The place was run down and ac did not work in main living area. Ac unit in bedroom stuck in low and was blowing warm air!. The bed the hotel was close to where my friends got married on the beach. I loved the fact that it was literally a 2 minute walk to the ocean. The location was good...close to the beach and shopping. The only good thing was it was a block from the beach. The manager refunded my money for 2 nights. It was very close to the beach. The rooms are small, I was in a condo unit and was very comfortable there. It claims to sleep 4 and it would, but I think 4 people would be too crowded for my taste. The parking was a tad on the tight side. It wasn't impossible, but it wasn't easy. However, for the location and the fact that we didn't need our vehicles until we left for home, it was okay. The only negative I found was that we were charged $5 per day for parking when I thought it was free. Person in next room had TV on all night but hotel didn't have control over that. The place could have been a little more cleaner but once again for the money it didn't take much to clean up a little on our end before we unpacked. Shower was a little small. Two older men having a loud conversation in the hallway very early in the morning. 6:30 am.. Holding the door to to sun deck open making the hallway freezing and the entire hallway reeked of their cigarette smoke as the wind blew it in and you sould even smell it in the room. They were inconsiderate guests but any hotel has them. The bathroom floor needed to be cleaned better. the city's parking is very limited. the bathroom could be updated a bit. Could not find address on building, needed assistance from off duty attendant for key and set up. No on-site laundry room at all. Door not secure much at all. I almost gave up my $ upon entering the office area - they really need to do something about the smell- thank God it doesn't reach the 3rd floor. Room was really small and could use some hooks since dresser is in closet and no place to store stuff. For those on a budget and can spend most of day away from room - works ok. had to pay for parking or drive around all day . the rooms were not very clean, the old, musty smell of the room andx furniture is bad. Dirty floors/counters/tables/bathroom/ev- erything, broken or low-quality furniture and appliances, uncomfortable beds, A/C leaked onto floor, A/C was underpowered, mini blinds were broken in places, room lights turned on and off only by turning the bulbs (yes, seriously, there was no switch you had to turn the bulb in the socket), carpet was dirty. This place was like going camping. The room was not vacuumed, hair + sand was everywhere, in the sheets and even long hair balls in the towels, it was totally disgusting, we had to sleep in that room as it was already paid for and plus it was late in the night once we got to bed. It was not too expensive but for the kind of room you get...not worth it. The room was tiny and looked worse than the pictures which are not impressive. It seems that they have crammed as many rooms as possible, with as many beds as possible, into a tiny house. Parking is extra. Linens were dirty and there wasn't any conditioner...not that that's a big deal but I had forgotten mine and the beach makes hair yucky. Nothing! The place was a dump! Staff did not care about broken ac in room. Trash was piled high out front and smelled disgusting!. Was told we had free parking not true,rented two different rooms and said there was ac wasnt,the man in charge un friendly miss informed miss lead.i made reserve for parking before and was still charged and what they would call free parking is ride around find a place without a charge well the would have been no place if you really need a place to stay that bad sleep in your car. The air conditiong didn't work - it was dirty and unconfortable - I will never stay there again - I would rather pay a bit more to enjoy the stay. Dirty Front desk staff was non existent. I had to leave a deposit for a parking pass and an extra room key that I was not able to get back because the front desk staff was non exisent. Parking sucked. I left a deposit for a parking pass that I was unable to use because the spaces were all full. Parking, small shower. Overpriced and parking was an extra $15 even though the room already cost $225 for the most basic accommodation. Owner charged a 'holding fee' of an extra $5 for parking (i.e. $20) and there was no one manning reception when I checked out to refund it. Dirty bathroom towel. The bathroom shower was so small I couldn't take a shower, no room to move in the shower. No ambiance at all; rugs were dirty/soiled. The housekeeper did not clean the floor. The innkeeper was unfriendly. Can hear other guests through the walls. Old stained linens. Moldy bathroom. No maid service, even though advertised. Room and hotel was dingy. Smelled like a collage dorm...door on third floor slammed shut all day all night. sheets and towels were dirty old yellowish not bleached and make up stains.... I had my own. parking is A big problem there.I will probably never go back for that reason. accommodations. No where to park and room was not very clean and the ac unita did not work very well flys were all over the place not a good experiance. The owner was very unpleasant and made us feel like we were a burden for being there. The towels were threadbare. Just about everything. Matresses were awful, dirty and very thin, it was extreamily dirty, the bed was not big enough for two and the sofa bed bearly big enough for one, still they advertise it for five people. I was yelled at by the owner when I tried to get out of the one week contract or to get a different room. Rehoboth beach is a wonderful place though. Just dont pick this hotel!. No hay parking. When my husband and I walked into our "apartment" the smell of mold just slapped you in the face. We have a 5 year old and a 1 year old...there were screws sticking out of furniture and walls, mold in the air conditioners and all over the bathroom ceiling. I found it to be a rather dangerous place. The room was extremely small...too small for two people. The hotel was not quiet...you could hear people coming in and out of the door, going up and down the stairs, and talking in the hallway. The manager seemed unhappy everytime I talked with him. The hotel was deploriable and filthy. Parking was terrible because I had to perform a miracle pulling out due to cars around my vehicle and my space was taken one night we went out. The manager didn't care if he gave my space to someone else cause all that was important was making money on an empty spot. I wouldn't even tell my worst enemy to stay at this hotel. The room was small and dirty, no curtains at the window , the doors creaked and banged. The parking was impossible! I had to park back in a corner, under a deck, and was blocked in by other cars. Upon check-in, the lobby sofas were covered with towels and bed linens and staff was folding them in front of guests. I have worked in hotels in the past and this would never be allowed; it is very unprofessional. The manager was rude and didn't care about guest needs. It was an overall bad experience!. Air conditioning didnt work very well- it was not clean or comfortable.
