I like the location along the canal. It is very picturesque and I love to walk the neighborhood and to walk to the beach for some exercise. It is very clean, breakfast is continental and nicely done. The owners are friendly. It is very clean and the rooms are a nice size. This is the third time we have stayed so we obviously think highly of the inn. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very comfortable cozy with a very serene atmosphere. The location was great close to everything including the beach yet located on a quiet residential street. We loved it and would definitely stay there again.
all reviews » Canalside Inn was a perfect little retreat for my husband and my little overnight getaway. It's walking distance to downtown Rehoboth Beach and very clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again! We enjoyed the spa bathrobes as well. The mattress was so comfortable! Location was great... to get to the beach, outlet shopping (no sales tax), or the Cape May /Lewes Ferry. Felt very welcomed at the Canalside Inn. Room was great. Loved the balcony although open. Nice breakfast and communal dining room meant that you got to meet other residents. 15 minute walk tobeach but lovely location. Gay Friendly, Pet Friendly, and the location as well as Inn is beautiful :-) Friendly all away around :-))))) Walt is very nice and full of great information!!!. Very classy décor with attention to details. Lovely location overlooking canal with trees and birds. Accommodating and attentive management. The room was very nice - clean and bright. Very close proximity to the main drag of Rehoboth Beach but still away from the noise and clamor. The accommodations were warm and inviting, clean and well suited to my needs. The convientance of where we were staying as a family. Outstanding interior and exterior decor. Comfort, clean, lounge area. My only complaint is that my bed was a bit too hard so I did not sleep comfortably. But my husband slept fine. The rooms are a bit smaller than the average sized hotel room. The Inn is pet friendly which was fine with us, but if you were allergic, that would be a consideration. Nothing. No smoking on balcony but it was still an awesome place to stay!!!!. The room did not have a desk which is very important to me - probably not so much with others. It was also very difficult to watch the television laying in bed because it is located on the side of the bed and not in front of it. I do not like your policy of up front payment and not being able to check out earlier when some of my family had to leave on Wednesday instead of Friday . No change or refund is unheard of for a motel as we have traveled all over this country and never had this happen. Thelma Tyndall. Nothing. Problems with TV.
