Staff were very friendly and helpful! Bed was very comfortable and room size was fine (not too big, not too small). The refrigerator made A LOT of noise... So I ended up calling down to the front desk at 5am... They came up and unplugged it. Location is fabulous!

My room view was a brick wall... :(

The staff is amazing, very welcoming and helpful. Perfect locatin, curner of 5th Avenue plenty of transportation options available from and to the area. Clean and tidy room. We really liked it and Defenetly would like to stay there next time.

The room was everything it was supposed to be. It was small but comfortable and that was what we were told. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. 4 blocks to the empire state bldg.

It's a small place on a quiet street and so a relaxing spot to stay. The room was comfortable although it was handicap accessible, which we did not request. They have coffee and tea available in the lobby 24 hours a day which was a nice touch when we arrived back late at night.

We tried to check in a bit early having just arrived in the city. They didn't have anything ready. We're aware that rooms are available starting at 3 p.m. but it was really inconvenient and unusual in our experience for them not to accommodate us.

Location is excellent. Good sized rooms for New York. All staff very pleasant and helpful.

No real complaints with anything. If I was to change one thing it would be to add some casual options to the restaurant menu or make some snack food available in the bar. But this is not a complaint just a suggestion.

What we really loved was the location. We have managed to visit all attractions by walk. Also the theatre in the evening. Our room in 10th floor was very clean and quiet. There was enough place for both of us in a bed room and as well in a bath room.

The only think that we really don't like was the shower. It was very clean also, but you have just one option - it is comming from the ceiling and it was impossible to avoid the cold part of it (cold water at the beginning) and not get your hair wet.

Great location. Nice rooms more spacious than you think. Very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again. Just don't go into the lounge late night. Bar tender made us feel like we didn't belong. Very rude in our opinion.

Everything - The staff were amazing and so so helpful. Charlie the Concierge was just brilliant. The Location just off 5th Avenue made it so easy to get everywhere . Beautiful room and facilities Cant wait to go back and try the new restaurant when it opens soon

Highly recommend the Hotel Chandler to anyone staying in NYC because of its location. It is in the middle of Manhatten and close to the green line subway which makes it easy to get around. But the best things about the hotel are the friendly and helpful staff, the free wifi and comfy rooms. It is clean, secure and stylish.

The rooms are small but you have to accept that about NY. The air con is noisy but then we did have it going flat out because NY was in a heatwave.

The location was perfect - 1 block away from the Empire State Building, but stays away from the noise and tourists. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I even got an upgrade for free.

friendly helpful staff, ideally located and few blocks away from nearest subway, rooms were spacious and clean, bathroom was also nice size, free wifi, free use of computer and printer.

would be good to have complimentary tea/coffee facilities in the room rather than just downstairs in the main foyer, slow lifts, complimentary or more reasonable breakfast rates considering the price per night.

Very professional and friendly. We really felt like employees were interested in their guests. Wishes and requests were taken care of. Complaints were handled expertedly (we had to switch room first night as on the exterior a tube was having a problem). Very nice and helpful concierge and staff at reception and good cleaning. Super location.

Unfortunately renovation ongoing so that restaurant couldn't be used - but for future guest this shouldn't be a topic

All of the staff were extremely friendly and professional. Although a little small compared to "standard hotels" it's as good as can be expected in NYC and never felt cramped.

Beautiful boutique hotel center of midtown close to all attractions. Well priced. Well maintained building. Rooms very clean and night time turn down was exceptional...my little daughter loved the chocolates on her pillow. Concierge provided great restaurant recommendations. Bell boys even stored our bikes that we brought with us on our trip. Wine and cheese in the evening...great idea. Even complimentry coffee in the lobby displayed an extra little touch that added to our positive memories of Hotel Chandler.

The whole staff is so welcoming, courteous, smiling and attentive. The room was very comfortable, well decorated and spacious. This hotel was renovated very tastefully. It's a beautiful, elegant hotel that is quiet which is rare in New-York City. I loved the bathroom, the robes and towels were very soft and it was extremely clean. I will definitly be back, this is a gem.

Everyone was very friendly. One of the Porters even remembered us from last summer. Location is excellent, close to many major destinations, yet the area around the hotel is quiet. We were upgraded to a suite when we arrived so room was amazing.

No restaurant at the hotel. Price was $100 per night more than when we visited last year.

This place is amazing. This is due to two facts or more. It's super clean, elegant, perfect location, but most importantly: people. The staff make all the difference, from Mili from the day shift, to Walter from the night shift, to every one from the front desk and the guys ( bellboys) who help u carry your stuff and open the door for you. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

I wish the rooms were more spacious, but u can't have it all and this is nyc after all. Breakfast needs to be cheaper. A coffee and tea making machine in the room would be nice.

The staff was wonderful! Everyone was polite and attentive. They all went out of their way to make our trip a pleasant experience.
