We liked the ease of getting to the airport, being able to leave our car in a secure place, and a lovely room for a modest cost. Friendliness and helpfulness of the manager on duty. He was very accommodating to our needs.coffe and breakfast ready at 6:30 a.m. really good. beds comfortable and clean sheets. bathroom clean, toilet clean and worked. For the price this was great...

It had everything one would need - nice bed, TV w/ movie channel, ironing board, fridge (but not plugged in), wireless internet (but weak signal), couch. Nice clean sheets!!!. We were traveling from Athens, Greece via JFK New York to LAX arriving there at midnight and needed a lay-over in LA before proceeding to Honolulu. Past good experience with Ramada Inns and an efficient shuttle service were important to our 7 hour connection. The courteous service provided by the shuttle drivers (from and to the airport) and the desk clerk at that late hour was exceptional. We just needed a cheap, clean hotel for an overnight layover and thisbooking fit the bill. Helped to have a little grocery store directlyacross the street...the staff where very helpful, we didn't arrive until 10pm but they were friendly and able to help us make tour plans and things for the following day. room is spacious welcome toiletries package. Low rates. The pick up service was good but you have to tell the guest to phone the hotel.Ease of use and location to LAX and courtesy bus to and from LAX. Shopping and wait for the airport. Coffee in room would have been easier to make if on a little tabe near outlet. Other than that all was good. Electric outlets were far from internet plug, almost needed an extension cord to plug in laptop; fridge not plugged in; wireless internet signal was weak. I did not really like the area but we wanted close to the airport. one of the reasons I chose this hotel was free shuttle bus to LAX airport, which was not quite true. Free shuttle bus available only by preliminary reservation.We were waiting for the shutle bus to arrive on the airport for about an hour in vain, finally we took a taxi. Please corrrect this info on your website.Can't remember if the detail about contacting the hotel upon arrival waspresented clearly, waited 1/2 an hour then phoned and found out thatthat was what we were supposed to do, not just wait around hoping forthem to show, as was the case for a lot of the hotels in the area whoseshuttle buses we saw repeatedly collecting customers. It all worked outok in the end however. ants in the washroom nocable in the room that was assigned to us. Starting to look a little old and run down, but still acceptable. There was a fair amount of noise from outside and also from the air conditioner. The breakfast was very basic.according to taxi driver not a safe neighbourhood. the ad stated that there was a 24 hour shuttle to airport. not true. the shuttle (actually only from the hotel to lax) started at 4:a.m. and ran every 90 minutes. not quite 24 hours, in addition, the hotel was in not the best part of town. perhaps 30 years ago it was - but not now.yes, after dark I did not have a safe feeling on the street. Area of splash pool. rough neighborhood. we had to phone for shuttle bus, not easy arriving late after long flight and we had no coins for phone. more choice of shuttle times - the 7 am one left me little time for checking at a chaotic terminal. The earlier one was 5 am. No indication on the web site that one had to phone the hotel to get ashuttle pick-up. Therefore we waited too long and eventually had toget a taxi.Just the waiting at lax for shuttle. the shuttle bus pick up from the airport was a joke. The price quoted was not the price we paid. We were made to pay morethan on my " booking.com" agreement. No lounge area to sit while we were waiting to go to the airport.The surroundings of the hotel. The area is a on the lower social economic scale. There is no comforablelounge or outside area. Even on a one night stop over the family did notlike being couped in their room all the time. The staff seemed to bevery reluctant to help or be of any assistance. It was only when raisedopinions were voiced that they then helped and then very reluctantly. The reception desk man was unpleasant. I would never, ever go there again. We did not use shuttle bus to the airport, because we were not sure if it is going to come at all. We must have paid during check in (on advance) not during check out. Room is clean, but dark and smells somewhat.Although it says on the website that there is a shuttle from the airport to the hotel we waited 60 minutes to find out that I had to call the hotel so they would send one. Could have know previously thtat it was kind of motel...staff rude, gave me room that hadnt been cleaned/made up from last person who stayed there.
