There is NO shadow of doubt that the hotel Sands staff are very polite, very fiendly and courteous all the way thru right from upon arriving and entering the lobby till I had to leave.The rooms and bathrooms everything is clean and lovely I was at the Harvester Pub, Chequers Bar and Tipar Bar and have no complaints. The stay made my memory unforgettable. At Harversters Pub I enjoyed playing the billards and frankly enjoyed my stay Iam from Australia,so to make the long story It was excellent - .
all reviews » I liked everything at Sands Hotel, It was really professional, clean, the staff were very friendly. I would like to thank Ms. Anam at the reception and Mr. Sujith the Cleaner specially who really take care of their guests. I like the view from my room at 16th floor, the SPA, the swimming pool at 17th floor, the live music in the second floor bar and everything. I really loved and enjoyed staying at sands hotel. Sands hotel is not a 5 star hotel, but the behaviour the staff do with you is someth. When I think about my experience at Sands Hotel from the beginning till the end of my stay, the only word that comes to my mind is: Fabulous. I had a really good time there. From being picked up at the airport in a private car arranged by the hotel, to the personalized greeting from the front office staff, all the way was amazing! The food at La Piazza was really good, not over pretentious but just right! Over all this was a great choice and I would definitely choose it again and again! Highly. I stayed in this hotel for almost 3 months and I have to say it was a pleasant stay. The staff at front desk is friendly and really helpful as they all made sure that all my requests were met. The studio I stayed in was spacious and clean with a nice bathroom, very comfortable bed, and good furniture. Restaurants and bars were more than wonderful; I highly appreciated the ambiance at Harvesters and the live band was fantastic. It was just one of the best place to stay after a hard day of work. . have stayed at this property many many times beginning in June of 2010 and continue to stay there now. Except for one trip in which the Air Conditioning (whole hotel) was having a bad week, I have never been dissapointed with this property. The staff is excellent, the breakfast is top notch, the evening reception (Tue, Wed, Thurs) is very good and the grounds are very well kept. The rooms are fabulous with all the comforts of home and WiFi. Knowing what I know and have experienced, I would not. I have been a very frequent guest at Sands Hotel, for over a year and a half now, for business trips. This hotel offers really good facilities and amenities for business travelers as it offers clean rooms with bathrooms, restaurants and bars, wifi, TV, iron etc. The location is really nice as Sands is on one of the major street of the city which is convenient as taxis are really easy to get. The hospitality staff take all measures to provide good customer service and is very polite and professi. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. We stayed there for 3 nights. The staff is so friendly and helpful and even when we had a small problem they resolved the matter in a very professional, friendly way, nothing was too much trouble. The pool area is nice and the location of the hotel is just very good as it is just a few walking distance from shops, restaurants and cinemas. We had a really enjoyable stay and would like to thank again all the staff for their professionalism and t. The Sands Hotel is well located in the city centre and it offers nice bars. I was given a queen when I booked a king size. Later they moved me to a king and it was a good room very comfortable. bathroom fitting are old and could be replaced. nothing. After check went to the Hotel's Club for a couple of drinks..They did not let me in with my laptop. Even the concerige did not want to take any reponsibility. so why cant they allow valuable stuff inside when they cannot take responsibility. They had initially put us in a smoking room which is not healthy for my son who was with us and that room really smells smoke and very stinky. The carpeted floor was wet near the bathroom and there is a door which I believe is for connecting room that we don't think is secured.The room where they transferred us is a bit okay but the channels on the TV is very limited, nothing for kids in English language. Facilities becoming a liittle tired but very well looked after. Smoking in all public areas including the table next to you in the dining room! Allowed everywhere in AD - plenty of other countries allow the same but not good - an outdated and ill-informed practice. I was displeased that the door to our room didn't pull closed as easily as I would have liked and we left and returned to find that our door had been slightly ajar for hours. Also, as the hotel is older, it is in need of updating/remodeling in some areas. Our room was worn and outdated, though clean. Internet signal is weak (wifi) on 8th floor. Smell of pillows are not good. TV channels were not adequate. I didn't sleep well because of the noise of drilling and maintenance in the next room of my room and it shouldn't be like that because I paid money to relax and feel comfortable. Internet connection was not good. -the loudnessVolume of the AC -no breakfast included. That breakfast was not included. SPA is costly.
