This beautifully restored, Victorian hotel and coach house annex is situated within 5 minutes' walk of the town centre, on the best side of town. The hotel has a fully licensed bar, large double TV lounge, and is noted for its very friendly and homely atmosphere. All rooms are en suite with complimentary toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities and a TV. Some rooms also have a DVD player. A delicious freshly prepared breakfast is cooked to your taste when pre-ordered. Please note that when the hotel is not full, single rooms are upgraded to a double or twin room for the same price in the coach house. Guests are welcome to purchase discounted tickets for Drayton Manor Theme Park from the hotel directly during their stay.

Ability to come and go as I wished without disturbing anyone. Hotel generally is clean and tidy and the owner is friendly. lovely room.The room in which I stayed for two nights was very homely with nice decor. good location, quiet but short distants in to town.Friendliness of staff, location near to town centre. easy to find, close to where we wanted to go.clean and comfortable.
all reviews » Clean and warm and a nice welcome. good breakfast. The room was clean. It was a great distance from town, real close...no problems! The rooms were very clean, tidy. The bar was small, however great to use, I`d recommend the hotel to anyone. Off-road parking was an essential feature. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was cooked fresh and was of good quality. The bar and lounge were pleasant.It was nice to have my whole Family in one room. Nothin at all staff cheeky and came into my room twice while I was inroom without knocking. Off road parking area very cramped. no soap or shampoo in the room not sure if this was the norm or an oversight. Dining room and bar locked up when not being used. Owners appearedhorrified when I asked to sit in the guest lounge, and wanted a drinkfrom the bar. The shower did not work properly and this to me is an essential part of any stay. Access to the lounge area was restricted at certain times.However we have got coffee and tee for morning time in the room we could not drink that because the kettle was so dirty and mouldy. no shower gel and no shower or a trickle if thats what a shower. Our family room was OK. It did not have a lock in the bathroom and also. The door to our room did not lock either. Use was givena key to lock the door but it didnt work, also once you've closed the door you can just push it open without the key. Not very safe at all. shower was very poor.room getting very tired.holes in sheets.room not very clean.breakfast low quality.The shower did not have hot water and was little more than a trickle, there were, however, no staff around to tell. I didn't like anything as I said staff at hotel very cheeky room haddamp on walls and wallpaper was hanging off walls also a funny smellto the room. Everything. Staff were surly and rude. Hot water ran out after 1 shower in a triple room. Sour milk for the tea ... need I go on! We check out early - had booked for 4 days but left after 2, even paying the cancellation charge was better than staying another night.
