Everything was perfect and me , my friends coudnt believe it how beautiful the rooms were and it was near the aireport, windsor and town center. We have stayed in Travel Lodge many times and regreted it beacause it wasnt worth for money and i woudnt recommend to anyone. I will recommend Baylis Hotel to anyone. Keep it up guys. I liked the friendly atmosphere, the Indian food,the beautiful surroundings.

The room was rather tiny but we only needed to stop over for one night and considering the price could not complain. The place was very easy to find, room including bathroom spotless and had everything you'd expect. Based on the reviews on LetsBookHotel.com, we expected this hotel to be 'average', but found it to be really very nice.The room was very nice and clean, all the comforts of a more costly brand hotel but with a very competetive price. The breakfast, which was not included in the price, was very nice indeed, full english breakfast and very tasteful. Room clean, fruit provided, comfortable beds. There was fruit in a tiny basket, whichlooked like it had been there for 3 days, there were no biscuits withthe tea and coffee, the iron was terrible and leaked when water wasadded. And the bed was a tiny double room. We had a wedding at thevenue, so this was the easiest option to stay here. nothing. Nothing very dissapointing. Everything was perfect. Cooked breakfast was cold, suspect bain marie's were not working properly. I nearly knocked the table over. The breakfast table was unstable, just balanced on a bit of plastic. Any handyman could have repaired the table properly in 10 minutes. However, good breakfast.Not really. A single pain of glass in the bathroom window was broken but was neither obvious nor dangerous and had been well covered. The room was hot but I am sure that, had we asked, we would have been given a fan (we stayed only one night}. We were in a hurry to catch a train the next morning and found it irritable when the reception attendant took his time signing us out, but that was all.Finding room was difficult. Bathroom was not very enticing.Bed was a little hard. drafty, cold plates at breakfast so food cold very quickly, paper thin wall in rooms, could hear everything!. Room service menu was very limited. there was a compressor which was on and off all night, therefore I had little or no sleep.some other guests in the hotel were very rude and disruptive on the last night (banging on our door, entering our room, yelling in the hallway at 2am etc). the staff did not appear to be able to 'control' these guests. The hotel is situated a way out of Slough centre and if you do not have a car, then it is quite a walk to the train station etc. (about 20 mins). Of our three nights two were during a weekend and the hotel had wedding receptions on these nights, a lot of very high music in the room as the hotel rooms are directly adjacent to the ballroom. There is no way I can recommend the hotel to a family travelling with children as they would be scared and not be able to sleep at all. We lost several hours of perfectly good sleeping time due to noise.No bath plug, quickly rectified by reception staff. Bar was a separate business and closed at 23.00. No heat wedding party music so loud until 12.30 and we had to leave by 6am for a flight. noise level at night with the private functions held at the hotel. Location - this hotel was out of the way, a good 20 min walk or a minimum £5 taxi away from the town centre. Our room had no hot water in the bath, only for the wash hand basin. No concession was made.Family room sits opposite restaurent/disco/karoke not a goodnites sleep!. The family room was small to accommodate 4 guests as specified during booking, but teh staff tried to ammend this.on arrival they had my booking wrong and had me down as a double room instead of a family room and for 1 night instead of 2,the family room was not available anymore even though that was what i booked so they gave me 2 double rooms instead as there was 2 adult 1 child and 1 infant. the cot was broken and they tryed charging me for the 2 rooms. We decided not to have breakfast as it would have cost more than our room! The receptionist in the morning charged for a breakfast that was not taken and made a very big fuss when I wanted a refund. Considering it was their mistake, I would have expected a different attitude. I did not feel very welcome. A late and loud wedding kept the children awake.yes, very noisy into the night with parties in the conference area, we asked for a quiet room but it was noisy till 1am. took long to get extra sheets, internet was too slow to even browse the web. Only the welcome, Receptionist was a little bit rude and wanted tocharge extra from what was agreed due to the early check in. I would like an invoice, they could not find it when i checked out.noise language problem. Please see above about my room. Loud music from several functions until midnight. Resturant was unable to do child sized portions from the main menu but did have a limited child menu. Waitress struggled with the concept of removing used plates and utensils before arriving with next course! As a result the table was a bit cluttered and resulted in a lot of pass the plates. Family room was on the first floor of the accomodation block. Not ideal for a family with a young child.On arrival at 1.50pm approx. my room was not made up. I queried this with the manager who said that book in times are from 2 pm. This is incorrect on your web site which clearly states book in from noon. I was given an upgrade but had to wait to get into the room which necessitated another phone call to reception. However this was really the only major gripe. 2 nights out of 3 loud disco music played until 12.30. 3 requests for coffee,tea and milk. No mirror in bedroom. Room card faulty difficulty accessing room. the cooked breakfast was cold, garlic butter was served with toast and jam - yeuch, we were locked out of our rooms whilst we were having breakfast and could not get back in again, insufficient bedcovers, no plug for sink. The breakfast, cold rooms. Rooms designed badly with bed up against curtain and one side against wall. Ironingboard in room leaning up against wall. Very noisy at night because of wedding receptions and no insurance in the car park, my car was damedged in the car park.Very small rooms, the hotel main gates were locked at midnight and wewere not made aware of this, so when we arrived back at 2am we wereoutside the hotel, in the cold and rain.We tried calling the hotelreception many times with no response, we are 4 girls in our twentiesand we felt very scared that something could happen. If you are planningon going on a night out near by avoid this hotel!. when checking in the staff were friendly, however when checking out and being charged more for our rooms than quoted we found the one member of staff (who looks after reservations) was extremely rude. The double room and bathroom were poor like a 1 star hotel and not 4 stars"! It was not a good experience!!!. The general cleanliness.
